Blue eyes snap open, body immediately moving to sit up. He looks around for a moment as if he doesn’t know where he is, before a sigh escapes him, hand coming up to rub at his eyes.
Damnit.
He fell asleep.
The boy curses under his breath, a barely hearable “Shit...” leaving him as he notices how dark his surroundings were. Was it night already? He remembers reaching his room in what felt like the early afternoon, but now that he thought about it, he wasn’t that sure anymore. He was dizzy and tired, and his head felt like it would burst open at any given moment. And although he didn’t wanted to admit it, he was hungry and thirsty, too.
It would have been healthier to rest after that fight, he was aware of that.
Yet, he hadn’t done that.
Because he did not have the time.
Hakuryuu turns his head, looking outside his window. He barely remembers people telling him to rest, to get his wounds checked, but in all honesty he hadn’t paid all that much attention to anything. He was exhausted after everything, even though he refused to admit it, yet he wasn’t ready to take a break just yet.
No, he couldn’t do that, he didn’t have the time for that. He had to think, to think about how to go about with his plan. Sure, he still had his original one in the back of his mind, but there were still things he couldn’t change so easily from one day to the other.
Another sigh, his hands clenching into fists.
If only those two hadn’t come here.
The prince quickly shakes his head, trying to get his mind off of those things. No, there was no use in dwelling on it right now, it would only distract him from his task at hand, and yet he found himself thinking about it more than he liked. He found himself thinking about them too, and Hakuryuu wasn’t sure how to feel about that.
A moment passes, in which he merely stares into space, before Hakuryuu closes his eyes, taking in a deep breath.
As much as he didn’t wanted to admit it; Maybe, resting really was a good idea.
Just for a short while, anyway.
He’d rather not pass out on his desk at random again.
Ugh.
With that in mind, Hakuryuu turns around in order to stand up.
Only to freeze in place once his eyes catched sight of someone else in the room.
And while there wasn’t really all that much light, it was enough for Hakuryuu to make out who it was.
Now, normally he would just tell whoever entered to leave, that they weren’t allowed in here unless it was actually important. Not to mention that they should knock first.
But, this wasn’t just anyone.
“Y-You-”
Eyes wide, the boy merely stares at the other, too shocked and confused to speak for a moment. No, this- This wasn’t possible, this-
“How- How are you-?!”
This couldn’t be real.
There was no way.
“Why- Why are you here?!”
