To be an actress and act crazy is really fun for me, to be able to be acting like you’d never be able to act in your real life and scream and freak out. It’s an interesting test for an actor.

She is water: soft enough to offer life, tough enough to drown it away.
Rupi Kaur (via irlsiren)
“nothing simple,” tylan replied rather cryptically. “i see a tree– well, trees. more than two but less than a forest.” he squinted his eyes to gain a better perspective. “it’s the tree’s branches, though– there’s no leaves– no. instead, it’s like they’re sprouting bags of money.”
zahara looked away from the sky and tilted her head to the side facing him. “should i be concerned?” she asked with a smile in her voice. “i’m just messin’, there’s nothing wrong with seeing what you want. my father used to tell me that trees symbolized strength and permanence.”
“i wouldn’t go that far, snow.” he took the offer, placing himself next to her. “alaia and i used to argue over what we saw up in that sky. we could never agree.”
zahara sighed as she listened to what he said, she knew what life with complications was like and she could feel it when things were about to get, well, complicated. all she wanted to do was appreciate the little time she had with peace. she leaned back until she was resting on her back, looking up at the sky. “well, what do you see right now?”
‘ I’ve had my fair share of Westerosi celebrations, but not one with such vivacity and enthusiasm in honoring a man of spiritual leadership. ’
“well, it hold great purpose... or at least that’s what they’re telling everybody.” zahara responded, knowing this even is just all politics between each kingdom.
Ducked back, almost pressed against shrubbery and the edge of a wall. Penryn’s hand was hiding herself shielding her face from the noon sun. She should have been inside – stifling away as the life slowly drained from her as Septa lectured – out of the heat and from the potential of freckles. Instead, she’d escaped slipped outside. Footsteps approached and she froze as they grew close – close enough to spot her – her hand pressed against her eyes, blocking her sight. A silent prayer was said to the Seven that it was not her father; he was already irked with her currently, as was his usual want towards his children. “I’m not here.”
zahara was asked to walk the halls, make sure nothing bad was happening in the halls of the castle. she didn’t expect to see such a young lady, terrified of being caught. “my lady, are you alright? you look a bit flustered.”
‘ Yes, that’s nice, ’ she smiled and nodded at whatever it was they wanted her to know, trying her best not to look so disinterested.
“oh, so you’re into the pit fights?? i always though they were cruel, betting on someone’s life like that..”
Elys raised her gaze, eyes drawn immediately to the woman’s cloak: the pure, blinding white of the Kingsguard. “My lady,” she greeted, with a slight inclination of her head. “Of course. I don’t mean to cause any trouble.”
“oh, no need to apologize lady elys, the servers really do need to be ripped a new one, i’ glad you gave them a slight taste.” zahara replied honestly, she invited the lady to follow her to the table she was previously sitting at. “tell me, my lady, how are you finding the kings landing? did you get a good room?”
Jaron nodded. “You should, it has a good meaning behind it.” He smiled slightly and shrugged. “I am just being honest Zahara. I know, but still. I can only imagine the things you’ve been through only because you’re a bastard, but you should wear it with pride. You are welcome.”
zahara hasn’t met a lord like lord jaron, he had a good head on his shoulder and she admired him for that. “you’re too kind, my lord,” she told him with a shy smile. “i actually think i get more slack for being a female kingsguard than a bastard, but the combination really doesn’t make my life easier.”
“i think the last time i saw him, he was pissing on the deck of one of the greyjoy’s ships. think yourself lucky that i’d opt to come find you rather than stay to see the outcome of that.” he smiled, perching beside his fellow knight. ”i suppose the view’s alright.”
“what can i say, i’m a lucky girl.” zahara replied, a small chuckle leaving her lips. she patted the grass beside her and looked up at tylan. “well, take a seat then and enjoy. it’s only going to last so long.”
You love him?“ “No.” “Are you sure?” “No.

first rule of battle strategy; don’t ever let your opponent distract you.
.
Jaron nodded. “Zahara Snow, that is a very beautiful name.” He frowned at her words and shook his head. “Do not talk of yourself like that, I’m certain you have enough people talking about you like that already.” He paused. “Never forget what you are, the rest of world will not. Wear it like an armor and it can never be used to hurt you.”
“thank you, it means to shine, i take pride in it.” she told the lord who has once again managed to make her smile. “you are very wise, my lord, but i wasn’t talking down on myself, just being honest, but thank you.”
Jaron stopped walking when he felt someone bumping into him. His guards were quick to stand by his side but he raised his hand to let them know it was everything okay. “I apologize as well, I was distracted and did not see where I was going.” He offered the woman a small nod. “Lord Jaron from Hourse Greyjoy. And who are you, my lady?”
zahara almost giggled as the guards came in, but she managed to hold it back. she gave a small smile when he called her a lady and wondered if she should play along, but decided it was in her best interest not to. “i’m no lady, my lord, i’m zahara snow from house stark... the bastard child my lord.” her smile immediately dropping.
I like my hair messy. My love wild. And my sex aggressive. But I’m still a sensitive woman, just with passion.

The people who knew Jaron knew that he liked to be among the people. He spent a lot of his time dealing with the people and listening to their problems and concerns, helping whenever he could. So that’s how he found himself walking through the streets of King’s Landing, exploring and seeing the culture as much as he could.
zahara was meant to be preparing for the high septon but instead she was avoiding everyone. she was going go get her horse, wanting to take a small ride before the event began, she needed to clear her head before all the guests filled it with politics. she wasn’t really paying attention where she was walking which led her to bumping into what seemed to be a very important guest. “my apologies.”
