Saw someone on twitter saying there are too little artists who draw visibly darkskinned & textured hair black & poc characters, so I wanted to compile my visibly non-paleskinned and/or black hairstyle character arts here as an East Asian artist with "anime" artstyle to encourage more artists that has less experience with drawing visible black & poc characters!

*Of course not every pale characters I draw are white bc most of them either doesn't have confirmed race or is East Asian but I only included visible ones bc the point was non-white features in art

Ship wars happen when there is main character/popular character A, their confirmed best friend or lover B, and a charcter C whose relationship with A is critical to the plot

B is said to be "closest to A" by dialogues but the writing doesn't show their relationship a lot beyond lines and outside sources, and A's screentime and lore are heavily dedicated to C

Naturally AC becomes the most popular ship, B fans/AB shippers are pissed by AC shippers who ignore or erase B in order to ship AC, and uses "they are canonically THE closest" card

AC shippers are annoyed and start to claim that AB is badly written or not written

Eventually it becomes into a nasty ship war involving each shippers trying to morally demonize the other shippers

Becomes even worse if B is a woman and C is a man

If you want to be a writer please don't confirm relationships only by words, even if the focus is AC dedicate important scenes and relationship depths to AB as well if B is also relevant

Mario and Smg4 flirted w each other for a long time, actually started to date around lawsuit era then realized that they're not fit for a traditional committed exclusive relationship and broke up, eventually became qpr w open relationship

Also Mario came out as arospec at that time bc he can't rly commit to relationships

Mario still flirts with Smg4 and they still do sexual activities time to time but they also flirt with others as well

Both Celeste and Korean screening discourse happened because Glitch struggles with professional communication, and this had been an open issue for some while. However AT LEAST for Celeste they addressed who was in charge of the situation, what communications(or lack thereof) had happened, and an apology from the person who was in charge of the VAs.

For Korea screening Glitch is taking no accountabiliy, omitting important details, not addressing their poor communication at all despite it being the main issue and no apology from anyone that's related to the contract in the Glitch. Not to mention firing someone whenever they like is actually a right for western companies (from what I've heard), but their abrupt termination of the contract actually damages the korean distribution company and this CAN be an actual legal issue.

Actually I like Hefty in every version (Tho NTOB dumbed him down a bit too much, but I can tolerate it) and I like any popular ship involving him in any versions

But Heftette had made it to the top in recent days bc they're shipped in almost every universe, it took so long and they had finally convinced me after a decade of knowing them, I love my one-sided het ship where the guy is smitten

Also I think their personalities go well together overall and their dynamics are usually interesting to watch

Plus they still have some issues regarding their relationship and their personalities, they're fine as friends but there are things they need to sort out IF they want to be a functioning couple, which makes it even better

V*c and his shitty fanfiction tried to convince that Hefty is a shitty character but all it did was reminding me why Hefty is goated lmao

My opinion on Handina ship is that they only work in 1981 verse in specific

For any other version of Handy it doesn't really work for me

If I was HB-verse only smurf fan and if HB-Handy was my fav version of Handy then yeah I can see them being "the canon" for me but I really love other versions of Handy more (comic book personally on top, tho NTOB version is very fun to watch also)

Also I think comic book and ntob Handy is hotter lmao

I have a very complicated relationship with handefty bc I like them only as the specific version I made up but as for canon materials I like other ships of them better

They're basically the "potential interesting ship" for me
