All hail Zaku, First of his Name. Lord of the Andals, The First Men, and my drawing table.
Part 2 of knitting a scrap yarn scarf… many, MANY more rows in. Is it too crazy looking?
Knitting a "scrap yarn scarf" the long way 'round. About 12 rows in.
Shamrock knitted hat. A Bernat Satin crimson yarn with an ice blue Premier Heather yarn. I found the pattern in an old Vogue knitting book.
There appears to be a direct correlation between the late, great Ray Harryhausen, and Dr Who. Patrick Troughton appeared in Jason and the Argonauts (famous for Harryhausen’s sword fighting skeletons) and 3 years later he was playing the 2nd Doctor. Tom Baker co-starred in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad, and less than a year later up he pops as the 4th Doctor. Coincidence?
I can't be the first person to have noticed that Russell Howard is clearly an adult Calvin.
Thought I'd do my take on the 4th Doctor's scarf. It's hard not to be a Tom Baker fan.
Inktober 2017 - Week 1
12 flowers down, about 50 more to go.
After a further 2 hours work. What do all the strange round dark shapes mean? Stay tuned to find out.
3 ½ hours into a crazy acrylic painting. “Where are her eyes?” we ask ourselves.
Taking a crack at watercolor. Some people start with a still life of fruit, others make something that looks like The Jim Henson Creature Shop had a baby with Kay Nielsen
Layout of page 3 (Book title to be later announced). I've seen plenty of layout styles, and the Joe Kubert method has been the one that works best for me.
Drawing from last year, light red (or dark pink) inkwash on grey tone paper
