Scammers are gaining access to legit/established accounts and messaging their followers/people they've previously dm'd to steal money/access to their accounts.
This is important because one of the accounts they STOLE @/yetacomis does legit commissions! We've shared email/payment info and she's done this commission for me.
They will contact you telling you that they've reported you and that they've got their friends to report you too in order to scare you. They may even mention they mistook you for another user or provide a fake case number.
Here are the fake/doctored images they sent:
How can you protect yourself?
1. Tumblr will NEVER ask you to contact them via discord for account disputes. If you are banned/suspended/in violation of a rule an automated email will come from a tumblr dot com email address. Any communication with a human is user initiated and comes from their zendesk ticketing system.
2. Turn on 2FA (2-Factor Authentication). This way if you are scammed they will not immediately gain access. Tumblr will NEVER ask for your 2FA code. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR 2FA CODE!!!
Ironically enough I received this message literally 10 minutes before I saw a dm from my moot @ramonathinks telling me she got something similar from a different account @/carlkojee.
Here is what she received:
So far we know the two accounts compromised are @/yetacomis and @/carlkojee. Please comment below any additional compromised accounts and I will add them here.
I am reporting them to tumblr as well as the discord user names to discord. But please stay vigilant as these aren't just random accounts.
Again report any accounts who reach out to you immediately, do not click any links from them nor give them ANY of your account information.
sorry for clogging famdom tags but i would like this to reach as many people as possible to prevent anymore stolen accounts, especially if they scam more legit accounts that may actually have the credibility to fool some people.

But let me explain...
Why do I say that?
Well, to start: Her symbolisms (which the show is very keen on) involves thorns/roots similar to what we've seen in the S1E1 intro as the Roo enveloped the world.
She can't be a sinner - since she can be summoned and promised Alastor to make him the most powerful sinner in hell - you can't promise more power than you yourself have, right?
Dear Hazel also brought to attention that it's at the very least strangethat she is a secluded overlord that only sticks to a very specific group of sinners like the cannibals. That look like her. Alastor too, is a cannibal, yet he is way more hot please choke me sinner-like than the colony inhabitants.
And his Lil voodoo minions? Hmmm, sure look a little like the cannibals too (Okay I am stretching but IT VERY WELL COULD BE).
Also (and now that's a bit reaching, I know, but bear with me) I need to pull out S1E1 from Helluva Boss - Murder Family... Martha and her family are evil twisted mofos... in that episode, you see the same handmade wooden symbols that alastor had crafted as he summoned the demon to make the deal in the woods around martha's house - and as she has Blitzo and Millie on a stake, she holds a speech, saying "may the root of all evil will be honored as we continue thy work"... UH-HUH?!
It would be a friggin mind-blow plot twist. We know Alastor has a deal with her that involved him
Getting off the Air for 7 year (LIKE LILITH, wife of Lucifer)
Staying at the hotel (Being close and gaining the trust of Lucifers daughter)
If Roo would scheme anything, it would be involving the one that made her existence possible: Lucifer Morningstar. Whatever her goal may be, it's a given that she'd want in in that family. Lilith is (apparently) in heaven - maybe for a reason. Roo sure would love an uprising of evil, and Lilith (as far as the canon lore goes) was close to a revolution of the denizens of hell against heaven, using her voice to sway the masses. I could imagine Roo reaching out to her, and it being part of the Deal Lilith made with the Seraphim.
I have corresponding theory about where Roo truly comes from, but that isn't based on any actual facts, but gut feeling, so I wont elaborate.
But here you go, tumblr. I call it: Rosie is ROO! You heard it!
