"What do you want? Can’t you see I’m busy?" Jade huffed, blowing the smoke from her cigarette out of her mouth.

Lena took the beer before opening it. Looking behind her, a chair was there as she sat down in it and took a swig. The bag of her throat suddenly dried up as she let out a light cough. “How do people drink this?” She asked laughing lightly and looking over at him. 

Zeke chuckled slightly as he watched the girl take a swig then promptly choke a bit on it. He then took a long  pull from his own beer, rubbing his face as he held back his laughter. "Well, it's a bit of an acquired taste, y'know?"

"Mind if I sleep here tonight?" (I'm a little shit, I know XD)

"Um, I don’t know about that Zeke… It’s not really appropriate."

"Are you.. Okay?"

"That’s alright, because I don’t see myself fucking demons anyway.  After what happen, yeah no.."

"Yea, you probably shouldn't fuck demons on principle, but that's that's a solid reason too"

"I don’t think I have multiple options here. I’m not a mundane, I don’t get to sleep and whine all day long."

"Hey, even shadowhunters can have emotions, y'know? Nothing wrong with being upset, just don't let it consume your life, see what I mean?"

Upon hearing the sound he almost immediately jumped up, but sat back down when he saw the girl “No, you’re fine. Wanna beer?”

"Sorry to scare!" She said running her fingers through her hair as she felt bad for scaring him. "Never had one.. But sure" She said, shrugging and walking over to where he was sitting.

He smiled weakly. "No, really you're fine, it's no big" He raised an eyebrow "Oh no? Well, a first for everything, I suppose." He handed her a beer a she came closer

"Mind if I sleep here tonight?" (I'm a little shit, I know XD)

"Um, I don’t know about that Zeke… It’s not really appropriate."

"Are you.. Okay?"

"So.. If you fuck a demon, you get demon pox and then you become a demon.  Where was I when we were learning all of this?"

"Yupp....Well, shadowhunters are supposed to understand that you don't fuck demons. People also haven't known demon pox was a thing for that long, so I don't think it's in the codex or anything. It's one of those streetsmarts things.

Lena needed fresh air and somewhere quiet. The roof sounded like somewhere peaceful as she climbed the narrow stairwell and opened the door to see someone already here. The heavy metal door closed behind her, causing a loud snap as she turned around to open it again. “Sorry, I’ll go somewhere else”

"You have to keep talking, or your father will have a much harder death."

"Well, you know me, I'm not one to give up on what I want. I guess he doesn't deserve that......I just can't believe it..... He cheated on my mom with a demon.....I mean for fuck's sake, he's a shadowhunter...half fey, sure, but still......."

"She was the only person I saw for six years, kind of."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear it.....Are you gonna be okay?"

"Um, I don’t know about that Zeke… It’s not really appropriate."

"Are you.. Okay?"

"Talk to your mom.  Convince her not to treat him in such way because of his actions…"

"I'll do what I can, but she's my Grams' daughter. It'll be difficult talking her out of anything."

"My mom’s leaving New-York again, without me this time"

"Oh, damn, I'm sorry.  I know those feels. I assume you and your mom are close?"

"Um, I don’t know about that Zeke… It’s not really appropriate."

"Are you.. Okay?"

"I guess it’s a horrible trait to have, but it works well for me.  But, how long will you dad have before he.. Turns into a demon?"

He nods. "It does work well." He rubbed his face. "A couple of months at best. And I imagine my mom is going to make them hell for him. Hell hath no fury,y'know?" He smirked

"Yeah…um…You know what they say, life’s a bitch and then you die."

"Indeed they do say that.....So what's making your life a bitch right now?"

Zeke sat on the roof of the institute with his guitar and  few beers. Thinking about things back home had left him emotionally exhausted, and sitting out in the elements was what he needed. He'd initially been strumming the guitar, but set it aside, taking a long pull from his beer as he stared out, not paying much attention to anything around him.

"Um, I don’t know about that Zeke… It’s not really appropriate."

"Are you.. Okay?"

"You know, this may be bold to ask, but if you don’t feel comfortable in doing it… I guess I can always do it if you like.  But then, I am not related to him." Rose said as she shrugged a bit.

He stares at her for a moment. "My god, you are crazy....Sadly, that's one of the things I like about you" He shook his head, chuckling softly.
