I know we as a society have finally lost the plot on what normal aging looks like because I keep seeing people on tiktok comment on how “old” Sebastian Stan looks recently. I’ve seen several comments on his aging and how they’re “worried” for him because “he’s aged so much recently”

Okay, first of all, that man is 42 years old and he looks fucking fantastic regardless of his age. But because he has wrinkles and his hair is going a little gray people think he looks bad for his age???

I know the soldiers in the DBH universe are so fuckin useless bc HOW did so many of them not immediately clock Kara and Alice as androids 💀

It’s y’all’s entire job rn to find androids, and yet you couldn’t recognize two of the most commonly used and owned androids?? We see several Kara’s throughout the game and apparently Alice’s are really popular too, so???

You’d think after so long of living amongst them and seeing them advertised everywhere you’d have most of the popular androids memorized by now

I wish we’d gotten some information about what happens after the (successful) revolution. I feel like that’s when shit would REALLY start to get interesting. I have so many questions

What kind of compromises do the androids and humans make? Are the androids really given complete freedom right away? Or do they have to fight even more for it?

Does Connor leave his job as a detective to help Markus with integrating androids into society?

What happens to Cyberlife? I assume they’d stay open because they’re the ones that make and produce android parts to keep them alive.

Do they continue making androids? There are already 50 million androids in the US alone and they don’t die easily, so I imagine they’d live far past the average human lifespan. Would the androids want to have more of them made?

it’s stated and hinted at that humans were having “relations” with androids more than with other humans, also unemployment was through the roof, so I imagine birth rates in the US were very low. Over a brief period of time, I imagine it wouldn’t be crazy to think androids could take over the US entirely

Would there be more wars? I guess it depends on public opinion, but a lot of the public may still be really unhappy with the new developments. Androids are objectively “superior” to humans (stronger, faster, smarter, etc.), and I imagine a lot of the androids have resentment towards humans too (for obvious reasons)

What if they do continue making them until there are more androids than humans?? What kind of ramifications would that have?

Globally? Politically? Would deviancy become a worldwide issue? Some countries have androids and some don’t allow them at all. How would other nations feel and react to the US freeing their androids?

Would androids be financially reimbursed for all the work they’d done?

What happens to the android children? Do they stay in a childlike state of mind forever or do they mentally grow whilst still being stuck in a child’s body?

Creating a brand new sentient species and freeing them into society would change SO much!!!! I need answers!!!!! I want a second game!!!!!!!!

What happens to my man Hank??? Does he ever get sober? It’s such a tough thing to think about because his depression and alcoholism aren’t gonna *poof* completely disappear overnight

Hank may have made a friend in Connor and taken a big step towards forgiving androids, but his son is still dead and he’s still gonna be miserable about it. It’s not something he’ll ever get over, but does he ever get help for it or work towards a healthier lifestyle?

And I imagine integrating the androids into regular society would be a bitch all on its own. Several of the androids in the game stated they didn’t know what to do after deviancy because they weren’t being told what to do anymore. A lot of them aren’t going to know what to do with their lives or how to do it, and they’re probably gonna need a lot of help and direction to start out

Like…. he’s not even half as awkward or socially inept as some people in the fandom make him out to be. Sure his small talk with Hank was kinda uncomfortable, but that’s only because Hank hated him and was trying to shut the conversation down at every opportunity

i just saw your post where you said you don't care that Shane continues to drink, and it (especially the tags) was something i really needed to hear. i started drinking at 16 to manage my panic attacks related to ptsd, and became an alcoholic pretty young. i almost died one night when i drank too much and passed out in my own vomit. that night was almost 4 years ago, and today... i still drink alcohol. but i do it because i enjoy a little rum in my coffee on my days off, not because i need it to stop my panic attacks. ive gotten therapy, gotten support from a new family that really cares about me.

alcohol was never the real problem for me, and it's not the real problem for Shane. quitting alcohol completely isn't the glowing indicator of mental health that some people seem to think it is, and it's nice to know someone else who gets that

I also went through a very long drinking binge a few years ago bc i was going through some shit and I used alcohol to cope with it. Like, a lot of alcohol. I was drinking all alone in my room, blacking out, then throwing up every single night for about a year straight. My mom eventually kicked me out (and i don’t blame her) bc i was getting so bad and i was unwilling to recognize my issues.

And just like you (and shane lol) the alcohol wasn’t my problem; it was my mental health. Now that my mental health is better i have a very healthy relationship with alcohol. i drink very rarely, and when i do drink i’m very easily able to stop once i get a decent buzz going

I’m happy someone else relates to that bc I see a lot of myself in Shane when it comes to his issues. And I’m especially happy to hear that you’ve gotten the help you need and you’re still here today
