Talking to people who know nothing about dogs and their behavior is so frustrating because I’m just trying to explain how 99% of dog attacks are due to owner negligence, either in the past or present, and I always got a bitch in my ear talking about some “Nuh uh” as if they’ve been researching dog behavior for years, and can tell exactly what the issue is.

“You’re delusional, some dogs are just born pure evil” no, they’re not, negligent owners who know more about tying their shoes than they do about how to raise a puppy are the problem, not the dog. Animals DO NOT act out of malice. They act out of behavior and instinct that is OUR responsibility to manage.

Protect Dinosaur Valley — Put Guardrails on Massive Data Centers in Texas

Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas is one of the few places where you can walk the same path as the prehistoric animals did millions of years before you. The tracks there, thought to belong to Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon, have survived the test of time for 113 million years. Anyone is able to visit this trail, and walk alongside the ancient footprints, forever cast in the now dried mud. However, the park and its surrounding wildlife may be threatened by a large AI data center planned to be built near the park. The byproducts of AI facilities poisons the air, uses up the water, drives up electricity, and negatively impacts the animals, plants, and people living nearby. The area is even home to the endangered Golden-cheeked warbler. Even more unfortunately, the request to postpone the operation has been denied by Texas courthouses. Please sign the linked petition above to help push back against the construction of this data center.

Utahime’s relationship to religion fascinates me. It’s unclear if she wears the clothes of a shrine maiden due to cultural or spiritual reasons, but her technique’s connection to rituals makes me lean towards spiritual. I’m curious if her family owns a shrine or if there is one at the Kyoto school. 

I also wonder if Utahime and Shoko ever butted heads over the concept of religion; considering the fact that Shoko canonically stated that she is an atheist.

They would literally be that one Malcom In The Middle episode where the dad is so upset that the mom doesn’t believe in heaven because it means he won’t see her in the afterlife, so after an entire episode of him sulking, she just tells him she believes in god so he stops being so sad
