Protect Dinosaur Valley — Put Guardrails on Massive Data Centers in Texas

Dinosaur Valley State Park in Texas is one of the few places where you can walk the same path as the prehistoric animals did millions of years before you. The tracks there, thought to belong to Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon, have survived the test of time for 113 million years. Anyone is able to visit this trail, and walk alongside the ancient footprints, forever cast in the now dried mud. However, the park and its surrounding wildlife may be threatened by a large AI data center planned to be built near the park. The byproducts of AI facilities poisons the air, uses up the water, drives up electricity, and negatively impacts the animals, plants, and people living nearby. The area is even home to the endangered Golden-cheeked warbler. Even more unfortunately, the request to postpone the operation has been denied by Texas courthouses. Jujutsu Kaisen: When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth (art dump)

(JJK x JP AU) I’ll probably post more frequently about this on my TikTok (zelda-catt)

Synopsis and character roles under the cut-

When Nanami Kento, a famed paleontologist, is invited to a wildlife preserve by Gojo Enterprises, he is amazed to find that what he assumed to be just another private zoo for the rich is actually home to the very dinosaurs he has spent his entire life studying! Gojo Enterprises has found a way to bring dinosaurs back to life! But when things go sideways, and power to the park is lost, Nanami becomes trapped in the park with two kids, and dinosaurs on the loose. And despite the Tyrannosaurus Rex having escaped it’s paddock, something even more terrifying has broken free, and is hunting them down, tracking their every move.

So far, the roles are as follows!

Satoru Gojo: Head dino geneticist- Responsible for the technology that brought the dinosaurs back

Suguru Geto: Control room operator- Monitors the park systems and cameras

Shoko Ieiri: Paleo veterinarian- Dino vet, studies the dinosaurs and keeps them healthy

Utahime Iori: Park maintenance- Inspects and repairs the electric fences, facilities, and stations around the park. Also responsible for dinosaur neutralization and transport in collaboration with Shoko

Naoya Zenin: Park system programmer- Programs and fixes the systems that run the park

Grandpa Gojo: (name pending) Park owner- The man who started it all Kento Nanami: A paleontologist invited to the park by his dig site sponsor, Gojo Enterprises! He soon gets caught up in trouble

Tsukumo Yuki: Mathematician- Invited to the park by Gojo Enterprises, and is openly skeptical of it. She believes that “life will find a way” and chaos will reign on the island

Kiyotaka Ijichi: Lawyer- Invited to the park after safety concerns over the suspicious supercomputer and gene sequencing technology Gojo Enterprises was purchasing (No, I will not use Higuruma, Ijichi has a character arc to go through here)

The Fushiguro siblings: Gojo’s adopted kids (legality is questionable) who are flown out to the park, and get swept up in the dangers to come
