Tbh, I'm not really pleased about them either.

Bears as a familiar concept are okay, but they're not the first thing that comes to mind when I think of elemental qualities.

It could have been MUCH better served by another type. Like Salamanders? Maybe?

Because as it stands right now the bear literally looks like it was the disowned spawn between a bear and a citrine cave jewel. Just ugh.

Disappointed with the light flight stuff.

NONE of the skins or accents I was hoping for won. Frankly I'm not impressed/must-have with the ones that *did* make it.

I'm in the do-not-like-the-bears camp. I would have preferred salamanders or elementals - you know, SOMETHING ACTUALLY ELEMENTAL.

The apparel from this season? Pfeh. The sashes are okay - more striking to me than the damn 65 piece Major apparel, which is just as much of a let down as the arcanist's spellscroll was to the arcane flighters' first holiday, imho. When will they make something that actually covers the entire dragon or makes a *major* statement to justify the cost. The sunchaser stuff did, so what the hell happened this year? Hm?

Going to grind about 10 of the sashes, whatever I get is what I get this year. What a let down.

I bought all of the DLC for Skyrim

When they came out, I was heavily into other games, so I never got to play them. Now I have to remember all of the mods I used to use!

Decided to go ahead and wait for Aree's clutch between Cody and Gemma to come through for an obs/magenta/lemon. So these impulse buys Project dragons no are no longer needed.

I receive a PM today concerning a random offer on my dragon in the form of a trade.

Normally I don't mind this at all.

But when someone asks to trade their TG dragon for my single gened one and expects me to pay cash on top of the dragon they were motivated enough to approach me for....it strikes me as a raw deal, frankly.

This whole thing rubs me the wrong way.

The two dragons I'm trying to recreate are basically twins hatched from the same egg. All mary sue fantasy style as a rare omen that people aren't sure what to think about, blah blah blah. They are archetypical and form two halves of a whole persona - they are pretty much never seen apart or away from their charge(s).

But the thing is...they're pretty much sexless. They have no gender, no sex, and no love interest....trying to translate that to a game that's all about breeding is just...a nightmare.

I'm not sure if I should make them both male or female, since when I envision them they are "masculine" in some sense, namely in voice I think. But the ideas I've been tossing around are:

Two males - Closer to canon?

Male and Female - To "pair" them and represent their closeness. I doubt I'd ever breed them, because canon and like...incest?

Two females - I like their pose better >3>

Youth scrolls - I'd likely not breed them anyway, so eff the adult dimorphic art?

Haven't even really decided on their colors yet, because FR makes for crazy color-matching nightmares.

Thinking obs/mid/x or mid/mid...maybe even black/obs for one twin. I can never decide between silver and white terts for him. He's supposed to be such a dark blue he's easily confused with black and has metallic silver minor/eyes. Definitely Ice eyes for this twin.

The other twin is definitely maize/maize. The golden horns are a must and white secondary just looks wierd with maize primary. But I can't decide between Goldenrod or Banana tert. This twin's supposed to be white/cream with metallic gold minor/eyes. Definitely Light eyes for this twin.

Seriously thinking about scrapping and selling off most of my pairs to start over. Buying and breeding only circuits.

The hassle of dealing with pairs that I simply can't breed when they take space and they refuse to sell even when I do breed them is kind of frustrating.

I've begun to realize that part of the reason I'm having difficulty pursuing any kind of goal toward expanding my pairs is because I'm constantly trying to renovate my existing ones by replacing them with dragons I already have, usually by buying breeding stock, which takes up yet more space.

But it's the wrong sex and trying to scroll it to the breed you want is nigh-on impossible.

just want to shout out to the people who have fully developed personalities for their dragons and have intricate plots and inter-character relationships but for whatever reasons don’t really share them with the FR playerbase at large

I'd love to write about my lair canon, but it's really just a bunch of disjointed tidbits. I've made a few posts here and there under #Zenith Clan Canon if you wanna see.

I rely on people asking questions to prompt me to fill in the holes in my canon. But...so far...not a lot of people have asked.

Totally undecided on breed, but I think I might with with spirals or maybe mirrors?

The idea would be to create a kind of neon sunset look with the bright gradient overlapping the magenta.

I’ve always wanted a sunset pair and I’ve always kinda wanted to make a magenta pair that worked it.

But yeah, any thoughts?

I'm inspired by these circuit plentiful pairs.

The obs/azure/aqua ones or the mid/royal/lavender ones. I've even seen some jungle/jungle/leaf that are really eye catching.

People are so inventive!

I want to make one and I have a range in mind (several, really). Thinking probably spirals? I just love the way shim/circuit looks on their wings

But god DAMMIT why do the parents have to be so hard to find?!

Can anyone show me a few of their dragons like this? I'm trying to finalize what I want.
