DxP REWRITE - Master Post

“Diamond x Pearl REWRITE” is both a “rewrite” of BDSP & a second story in the Hisui region of old involving my & my husband’s trainers, Ansy & Ikrit, along with their ancestors Mizumi & Sasmu, as they travel along with a pair of familiar monochromatic train twins.

The title “REWRITE” also refers to how in both Diamond & Pearl as well as Legends Arceus someone wanted to “rewrite” the world, & how this story reimagines modern Sinnoh if it included more from Legends Arceus (among other things, hehe).

Day 2: Pokémon Silver

This was my first real Pokémon game and what locked me into the franchise. Chikorita/Meganium were so cool to me. I still remember when a newspaper advertised when the game was coming out. My mom saved me a copy and I redrew the Lugia and Chikorita that the paper printed. I was lucky enough to get a guidebook for the game and I studied it religiously!

Day 1: Donkey Kong Country 2

I credit DKC2 to getting me into video games. I loved Diddy’s design from his fit to his cartwheels, the way he hangs from his tail and more. Dixie is also a favorite with her sassy bubble gum and helicopter spin.

What really got me into the game is the music though. The soundtracks in this game felt ethereal to me.

#artober is around the corner and I decided to make my own personal version. I was gonna stick to only 16 to post every other day of October, but it was too hard to drop any of these.
