Cesare Ripa - Allegory of Eternity, “Iconologia”, 1669. The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. It represents the perpetual cyclic renewal of life and infinity, the concept of eternity and the eternal return, and represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth, leading to immortality, as in the Phoenix. The current mathematical symbol for infinity - may be derived from a variant on the classic Ouroboros. It can also represent the idea of primordial unity related to something existing in or persisting before any beginning with such force or qualities it cannot be extinguished. The Ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism, but has also been frequently used in alchemical illustrations, where it symbolizes the circular nature of the alchemist’s opus. Showing itself primarily in ancient Gnostic texts, the Ouroboros is any image of a snake, worm, serpent, or dragon biting its own tail. Generally taking on a circular form, the symbol is representative of many broad concepts. Time, life continuity, completion, the repetition of history, the self-sufficiency of nature, and the rebirth of the Earth can all be seen within the circular boundaries of the Ouroboros.

Dawn with her rose-red fingers might have shone upon their tears, if with her glinting eyes Athena had not thought of one more thing. She held back the night, and night lingered long at the western edge of the earth, while in the east she reined in Dawn of the golden throne at Ocean’s banks, commanding her not to yoke the windswift team that brings men light, Blaze and Aurora, the young colts that race the morning on.

This album is my research of ionosphere. I studied the scientific data on planets of the solar system and came to the conclusion that Schumann Resonance is possible not only on the Earth. This phenomenon is possible for Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Five harmonics were calculated for each planet. These data form the basis of musical compositions. Each planet has found its voice. iONOSPHERE will immerse you into a deep space trance.

These photos show the moment a selfless animal lover leapt into action to save a duck trapped under a thick layer of ice – before giving it mouth-to-mouth. With little thought of his own safety – or warmth – brave Norwegian Lars Jørun Langøien plunged into an ice-cold lake to free the helpless duck. He managed to pull it up on solid ground, give it a towel and a bit of mouth-to-mouth. (Source)

Jupiter’s moon, Callisto.
is no one going to explain what all the lights are
they’re impact craters! callisto is one of the most heavily cratered object in the solar system, and as far as my very basic research has just gone, the light parts are essentially iced over impact craters
so, essentially, we’re looking at something with a very frosty/icy surface. they’re bright because they reflect the sun!
