why does no one talk about how friends can break your heart so devastatingly intimately sometimes a million times worse than romantic partners why does no one talk about friend break ups

Especially because friend break ups don’t always come with the courtesy of an actual break up. Friends can just stop talking to you and we let it happen. They don’t sit you down and say “hey it’s not you it’s me” or “I just don’t see us working out” They say “sorry my mom said no” or “I’m busy that day” until you eventually stop asking or you drift apart. They aren’t obligated to give an explanation and sometimes that hurts more. Friend break ups don’t usually offer closure.

Do you have a lesson plan template you use? Recommendations for templates available online? Resources for crafting lesson plans?

This is the format that all high school teachers are taught at my college.  It’s pretty intensive, but it’s great for when you’re just starting out, and you can always change the format if you need to.  Also keep in mind that this is an Australian format, I have no idea about how lesson plans are supposed to look in the US, but I hope this helps :)

There are many online dictionaries around, find the one that works for you - the two most used I’ve seen are WWWJDIC and jisho.org - Jisho is often good for quick lookups, where WWWJDIC has many specialised dictionaries to search.

JLPT Guides - Here, Here, and here - as JLPT doesn’t publish study lists, many of these are gleaned from past tests. Still a good resource to find your basic level.

Maggie-sensei - a fun Japanese learning blog that’s helped me out with grammar a few times

Are you all seeing and realising how fucking Scandinavia, lands of snow and nicely cool summers, is scorching red. We’ve had droughts for week, not a single drop of water, ground water levels exceedingly low and besides official warnings not to bbq outside (something that is common here, like grab your bbq, go to a nice lake side or some pretty rock on a mountain and grill your wieners - no, not this summer because hey, we want to keep our forests), we’ve also had our garden watering suspended by law for a while because we might have run out of drinking water (which comes free, from the tap).
