One of the best parts of the mutual pining in Enchante is that it makes sense. They've been apart a long time, didn't even truly say goodbye as kids, are rediscovering their friendship and love, Theo is battling grief, Akk obviously has a lot on his plate, neither one wants to risk this precarious position with a love declaration. They just want to be able to be themselves together, to be chaotic and joyful together, to find themselves together. Plus, they pine and express themselves so differently that it only makes sense they're oblivious to the other's feelings.

Tumblr is that barren pasture in Costa Rica that was purposely filled with 12,000 metric tons of orange peels by conservation researchers. Initially, the orange peels decomposed into “sludgy stuff filled with fly larvae.” This led to accusations that the juice company providing the peels were “defiling the land,” and thus, the site was ultimately abandoned. But when researchers went back about 15 years later, they discovered “the arid landscape had been unrecognisably transformed into a dense, vine-filled jungle... as for how the orange peels were able to regenerate the site so effectively in just 16 years of isolation, nobody's entirely sure.”

Based on what I’ve read, they’re very likely playing up a “bromance” for us BUT can I say they’re serving some good stuff? Four episodes in and we’ve had:

Whoever is behind this obviously knows their stuff. I’d LOVE it as a BL but so far I’m not too mad at is as a “bromance”.
