It has been more than 2 years, I should pay more attention to my projects (?)

Btw, as I said in the post of Callie, I have been working in the models, because when I decided to finally paint them, I also started working in the bases of Callie and Marie. And I didn't upload these models before because... They were bad, with a lot of errors. But while I was working in the bases I also started working in improving the figures, because I wanted to share them too. And now they're not as details as the ones I made for the Grand Fest but hey, they are functional!

So I have upload all of them in my Cults account in case anyone want them! I hope you like them :D

the squid sisters is an idol group formed by a talent agency specifically meant for entertainment, differing from the standard definition of "idol" as a popular celebrity. because of this, they were seen as role models for young girls/women, and were designated to uphold a face of being "innocent / pure". both callie & marie kept their personal lives very secret (apart from callie's blog), as required by their agency to not ruin the façade even outside of performances.

they were expected to fit the mold that society had imposed on them, but eventually it became too much to handle and they broke off from their idol agency for freedom.

since shiver is from splatsville, and splatsville has no expectations of its residents, you'd think she'd be able to live her life freely. but!! the hohojiro clan (especially her parents) wanted her to excel in academics. she was a "gifted kid" as it's called, being ahead of most of her classmates.

unfortunately, because she was so caught up in trying to satisfy her family, she never got the chance to talk to the kids her age. other students thought she was a little weird for not talking to anyone, but in turn no one talked to her either.

she had gone without any friends up until age ~16, which was when frye and big man started talking to her. shiver was able to shift her focus away from her grades and finally make some friends; though she started to falter in school and become distracted, she was happy she had company.

i don't have anything toooo specific like i do with callie, but i do think marie has depression from the whole octo canyon story mode. having your cousin just disappear completely without another word after she promised she'd meet up with you...yeah definitely not good for one's mental health

since she and callie are idols together, they both experienced the same stuff; overwhelming popularity, constant demand for them to make public appearances, having to maintain the image of a "perfect girl", as well as some other stuff. it was pretty damn exhausting in the long run, and marie probably got tired of it before callie did.

at some point after octo cayon, marie did pick up smoking, but nowadays she tries to limit herself because she still wants to be able to sing and dance
