Headcanon that Wear & Where is run by a sketchy organization that experiments on the three Mii residents whenever you're not looking, that's why their personality is stripped away, reducing them into walking advertisements.

Right before the full game releases, they scrub any evidence of their existence and undo the lobotomy. Any data they've collected from their time on the island are kept to themselves and away from public eye, obviously.

All of a sudden Wear & Where had just undergone new management overnight, what happened to the old ones?
