Hey, don't mean to bother you, but I have a random question, since you helped work on their debut in the 2019 annual, do you know if the kids in the Sonic fan club have names?

Ummmmmm, I don't think so? In the script it was like: Deer kid, Fox kid, etc. Not sure if they've been named since.

I feel like it's been a while since we last saw you on sonic, nice to see you back! Though I guess it makes sense since I remember you talking about getting burnt out near the end of the Riders arc and also you working on getting your webcomic started

You got it right! Thanks for checking in! I was extremely burned out at the end of Riders and asked Nathalie to fill in for the last few pages. I was flip flopping the Riders issues and an MLP mini series, while also dealing with a plethora of personal things ranging from discovery of a disability as well as grief. What sucked is that I was really loving working on the book with my friends and wanted to finish it, but I would go and sit at the computer, get almost an immediate migraine, and my arms would turn to jelly. The lesson is LISTEN TO YOUR BODY (and emotions) and don't push yourself lol! It just sucks that my income relies on getting a lot of gigs to pay rent....but that's another issue for another write-up. So I took some time to work on my webcomic @evalla, which I got a nice amount prepared and the prologue finished, but have yet to start posting since I still need to letter. It took a while to get to it though, I really just needed rest for a few months, but got hyper fixated on Critical Role which was fantastic.

But yeah, I'm back since I just couldn't say no to this Chaotix gig with just a powerhouse of a team, and it was truly so special to work with all those boys on this project. There was a lot of cool collaboration and bouncing of ideas. Some that stuck, some that didn't, but we're really happy with how the book turned out.

I'm signed up to do something super super super cool with Jack Lawrence as well, and daaaamn ya'll are not ready! I'm getting more into doing local markets and cons on Vancouver Island so you'll be seeing more prints and whatnot posted, as well as my webcomic beginning to take off!

The preview page was pretty crunched, so here's Tracy Yardley's fab inks (and SHADING??🙏) on the left with my colours on the right! I went with a pretty simple style for this one so that I could spend more time on doing lots of colour holds to make the characters and objects pop!
