Weâre so pleased to debut the official #CZF2017 poster! This year, our artist is Chicago local (but Venezuelan-born) Mike Centeno. Mike is a cartoonist whose work ranges from grotesque stand-alone monsters to comics on the subtle social conflicts in our modern age. He draws inspiration from science fiction and comics artists from Kirby to Clowes. His work can be seen on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mike_centeno and his website: http://www.mikecenteno.com/. He also works the counter at our beloved @quimbys, so if you see him around, donât be shyâsay hello!
Cats! At the Chicago Zine Fest! Or at least on their poster.Â
