DC OC WEEK DAY 3 - CHILDHOOD idk wtf happened to the quality but shitty coloring + rant under the cut!

my boy Rhys as a younger kid!!! he's been part of the batfamily b4 Jay was adopted and the only one Bruce has raised since he was a baby 😛 (anyone read the unfinished fanfic series "in for a pound"?? literally my favorite but it's like that with Rhys instead of Dami, and with Damian coming in as he does in canon) for Rhys holding the legos i wanted to do him and jaybird playing w legos but i couldn't find a good pose and i didn't feel like making 1 up so uh....i was super obsessed with the lego batman movie when i was younger so i made Rhys hold lego robin :3 after jason's death, he's left alone to deal with his grief because of Bruce's spiral & focus on his work! he closes himself off completely, locks himself in his room for two years and basically becomes the biggest loser (like his father). anddd that's what you see depicted here :P i fear i made rhys look a little older than i was goin for + i dont like how jason looks! hopefully later i'll have the motivation to render this sheet lol
