trigger warnings include violence, murder, corruption, capitalism, and fascism. a few of these themes are often overlooked in favor of batman’s more fantastical adversaries, and while there’s nothing wrong with that, gotham isn’t corrupt because people like scarecrow and joker exist. gotham’s corrupt due to exuberant amounts of mob activity, corrupt politicians, and the federal government’s unwillingness to provide relief/assistance.
