It’s Game Time
Though he’d never admit it to anyone, Kian looked forward to Capture the Flag. He was actually excited for the game. But he was too cool to show that side of him. So instead of joining in on the chatter of excitement by the other cabins, Kian simply got ready in silence. Tightening the armor to his body, the metal an extra weight on his shoulders. But it was like it always belonged there. The new weight a comfort. His eyes scanning the crowd of people, a disinterested look on his face. The Ares cabin had been talking about the game since they found out. All ridiculously excited, while Kian just watched in silence. It was normal to see him so stoic. It would have been abnormal for him to jump into the conversations. So for now he let himself take in the crowd, helmet under his arm. He had decided on a spear this time, wanting to switch it up a bit. His shield covering his forearm.
Sword sheathed at her waist, shield resting near her feet, her fingers quickly worked to pull her hair into a braid. Had she slept in again? Maybe, but anyone that criticized her, would just have to understand that staying up late to watch half a season of Friends was not a choice, it was a lifestyle, one that she didn’t want to change. Quickly tying the end of the braid, she picked up her shield, positioning it onto her forearm, before looking over to the enemy side, smirking as her eyes settled on the stoic leader.  With a sigh, she moved closer to the front of the crowd, lazily latching her helmet onto the hilt of her sword. “You know, Hunter, I would completely understand if you want to accept defeat right now, it would save us a whole lot of unnecessary sweating, potential electrocution, and embarrassment.”
