Information on the warehouse and Frankie Knuckles.
Seth Troxler was someone who, as a group we researched quite a bit. We watched a lot of interviews on Youtube about him. Here are some links to the videos we watched and considered using or used as a group.

Benny Benassi - satisfaction
This artist is mentioned by Ella in our podcast. He is still producing today and has made many collaborations with current artists today. He is also a huge influence for the producers of house music who are new and upcoming artists.
This is an interview with Frankie Knuckles we used in our podcast. We made it out as though we had him pre-recorded from a phone call earlier that day which was really effective for the podcast as it allowed us to play with logic to create a similar voice for Arthur as he had the call with Frankie.

This is the song Matt showed us. We were recording Arthur saying the names of whatever genre of House was coming up next and we’d recorded ‘Acid’ already. When Matt listened to it he gave us the idea to say it as they say it ‘Acieed’ to make it more affective as it was once a very popular song. We changed the recording and made it really high pitched, it went so much better with the podcast and was more effective as it showed that we have really tried to make this be brilliant and even the little details are as good as they can get.
The 'rave' scene was created through acid house in the late 1980's. It took Chicago by storm and quickly progressed to the UK, mainland Europe and the rest of the united states. Raves continue today all over the world, although they now have a heavy influence on drug consumption.
Acid house was created from many different sub-genres of house including Techno. When researching acid house i found out that it has similar characteristics to techno as it uses similar instruments for example the Roland drum machine and several synthesisers. This shows how house was developed over a period of time.
