New Years resolutions: Be unapologetic about who I am and what I want. Seek improvement, not perfection. Challenge myself. Be kind to others, and to myself. Be grateful for what I have, but donât settle for being comfortable.
there are all of these experiences i've had, places i've been, and people i've met who i miss immensely. almost everyday i think about past events and interactions and wish i could relive them or just rewind and stay in those moments and with those people. the future is a scary thing because i don't know if my life will continue to be fun and exciting and full of wonderful people. (although there have been people in the past and recently who have mistreated me, the good ones most definitely outweigh the bad ones.) i have so much to look forward to but so much to look back on and it scares me that the future may not be as lovely as the past. however, every morning i wake up with a smile on my face, optimistic for the future and with a renewed hope in humanity. i guess i am just lucky that i have so many memories as a foundation that allows me to approach my future head on, which i fully intend to do.

College is this weird place where kids who are too young to be on their own are all thrown together in one school to take classes from professors who make simple material extremely difficult.
