simultaneously, the best and worst thing about the holidays is how my dog reacts. she gets so damn excited about all the company, all the treats, the cold weather. she goes crazy for all of it. and i love seeing her happy, but then she stops giving me attention. suddenly the only person she gives a shit about is my mum.

Oh, my dog is so used to see company that it doesn’t matter if it’s a holiday or just another Sunday! I love her so much and seeing dogs happy is the best. Maybelle would neve stop paying attention to me, she’s just the most wholesome dog, I can’t.

You’re never alone when it comes to holiday spirit, it’s the best and many people can agree. I love winter in general, I mean I don’t like the cold but, and there’s a big but, I love the cloths. I love this time of year! I love the feeling of this time of year. It just makes me feel so warm and happy. With all the lights, decorations and all the friends and family around I love it. Lying wasn’t anything new to Avan but this time, he had told a light lie to his grandparents and parents about where he was going today. He had told them that he was going to go shopping since it had been a while sine he had been able to shop in England and they had no reason not to believe it. Then again, it was half of the truth, he really was at the mall but he wasn’t alone. Avan had agreed to meet up with Zoey who he could possibly consider a friend now. She was working on a movie in the area over the holidays so the timing was ironically perfect. They’d agreed over text to meet near a familiar store so once he had entered the mall, he made his way toward the area. He laughed lightly to himself seeing that the actress had beaten him there first, which wasn’t any surprise. “Hey, hope you weren’t waiting long?” Avan greeted her with a warm smile. || @zoeydeutchxd​

Zoey arrived to England not too long ago and for her surprise, Avan was there too. Obviously the two had a very messy past and the last time they met was pretty emotional but, while still having some sort of feelings for the other male, she wanted to be there and meet with him, even if they were just friends. The two agreed to go shopping at the mall which was perfect because she needed some warm cloths. She arrived to the mall and wondered around like a lost child when she heard a familiar voice talking to her. She looked up at the male as she gave him a warm smile “Nah- just arrived!” She said as she hugged the other male “Perfect timing huh?”

The woman is quiet as she listens. “I’m sorry, you’re going through this, babe. I have no idea what any of that feels like so I can’t offer much by way of advice, but what you’re saying sounds perfectly reasonable. You’ve been through a lot already regarding that relationship and if you’ve got to find some way to leave it in the past, there’s nothing wrong with that, as hard as it is.” She nudges Alexa playfully when the other woman jokes, “listen, that situation actually isn’t as easy as it sounds at all.” Hunter rolls her eyes and shakes her head at herself and is about to change the subject altogether when Alexa kisses her. Immediately, Hunter reaches over and grabs her friends hand, kissing the back of it and shaking her head. “Don’t be sorry, it’s routine. Just what we’re used to. But you know besides that, nothing’s going to change between us, right? Chris knows me well enough to know how important my friends are to me because they’re family, so I’m still on call, and we’re still gonna snuggle to our hearts content. I promise.”

Alexa loved Hunter more than any person in the world, maybe more than her own family. Hunter really listened to what she had to say and she loved it so much. She was there for her. “Thar’s okay, I guess I needed to see him to get some sort of closure, if that makes sense?” She said scratching her head as she glanced back at Hunter with a soft smile on her face “I still get to kiss you?? I’m glad nothing changes. I love you more than anything, Hunter. I’d do anything for you, I hope you know that.” She said smiling “So how’s things with Chris? I swear that me and Seb used to joked about you guys together and now it’s like a real thing and I couldn’t be happier. I really like Chris.”

The blonde nods as she listens before making a thoughtful humming sound as she watches the girl smoke. “Yeah you do! We’re gonna have a blast, I promise. My sisters will love you and the four of us will be a nightmare for my brother and Chris. It’ll be great.” She chuckles and squeezes Alexa’s knee. “It’s understandable if that’s what you have to do for yourself, especially considering everything that happened. And you don’t have to be hard on yourself for not being able to do it, because whether or not it happens in the future, it’s still an option, you know? The door is there if you’re ever ready to open it. Plus seb’s sweet enough to understand if that’s what you decide to do, I think. If not, I’ll kick his ass.” The blonde laughs airily at the tail end, half joking. “But as long as you’ve got me, you’re never alone, okay? No matter what.” 

Alexa giggled as she looked at Hunter “Yeah we will!” She nodded “I’m not hard on myself I am just sad...Sebastian is the love of my life and we’re not together anymore and he’s with someone else and there’s nothing I can do about it. I know he loves her and I need to move on.” She said letting out a sigh “I know he will...he’s a good person.” She said “I hate him for it. Why can’t he be an asshole so I can move on easily??” She joked “I know I have you and I am more than grateful” She said as she placed a Kiss on Hunter’s lips “Sorry, forgot you’re in a relationship now and I can’t do that anymore.” She said pressing her lips together.

“Of course I do,” Hunter answers, looking over at her friend before frowning just a bit. She knew the other woman had been through a lot in her previous relationship with Seb, including losing her pregnancy. Before lifting herself up to sit beside Alexa on the couch, the blonde grabs the tray with Alexa’s favorite fries in it to place between them after pulling a blanket over their lap. She reaches over and tucks a bit of Alexa’s hair behind her ear. “It’s okay, babe. Take your time.” 

Alexa leaned against her couch as she took a hit from the blunt. She loved getting high, always laughing and not even remembering about her troubles? Yes, please. “Yeah, I guess the meeting with Seb fucked me up.” She said glancing at Hunter “At least I got to spend to holiday with you and Chris” She said smiling at Hunter as she reached her hand to pass the blunt to Hunter “I guess me and Seb need to just stop talking and it’ll be for the best if we don’t meet again. It’s too hard...”

She walks into the place and over to the coffee table in the living room, setting the bags of food down before reaching out her hand to her friend. Once Alexa is close enough, Hunter wraps an arm around her and rubs comfortingly rubs her side. “I’m gonna set the food out so you don’t have to bother and you can tell me everything.” She says before she sits and starts pulling the food and utensils out of the bag. 

Alexa was sad but it was reasonable. The person she loved was with someone else and she was still thinking about their whole relationship, and basically everything that happened. Hunter was a huge sweetheart for being there for her no matter what. She really loved Hunter. “Sure.” She said smiling a half smile at the blonde. Alexa sat on the couch and took the blunt she rolled up before Hunter arrived “I am going to smoke. Are you in or not?” She said as she light up the blunt. It was not a secret that Alexa was smoking a lot, especially after her failed pregnancy.
