i am fucking ready for single girl summer. it’s been years since i spent this time doing whatever i want, whenever i want, with whoever i want. go crazy go stupid - as they say. i’m gonna keep busy and chill out, and somehow i’m going to do both at once. so.. tell me. what are your summer plans, and where do you have time to fit me in? we should go on an island vacay or do something memorable. @glorystarters

y’know, i hadn’t realized it’s been the first summer in years since i’ve been single as well. dunno if i’ve let my crazy out though, guess it’s just been busy. more power to ya though, having a good time is pretty important. once tour is wrapped up in july, i’m free as a bird.

is it just me or does the summer go by too fast? i watched fireworks with my son on the fourth along with our dog and it hit me that in two months he’ll be back in school. i don’t have him all of summer vacation which makes me appreciate those moments. i didn’t take the saying time flies seriously until i became a dad. sorry for my ramble but does anyone else feel like the months fly by like I do? pretty soon i’ll be back to filming. @glorystarters

i’ve got a weird relationship with time. definitely freaks me out with out quickly time flies. got me feeling like i’m hitting a midlife crisis at 25. can’t even imagine how it feels when a little one gets in the equation and watching them grow and such. does time go in a blink when you’re working on a project too? ‘course everything's at a standstill when something bad comes up.

i miss touring, i’m putting out an album this month, but i just don’t have the time to tour, it would be so much fun. hopefully they sing happy birthday to you, and not the one where they tell you that you live in a zoo. i’m sabrina. i also don’t really have anything that exciting, though my cats are named after abba.

ah, that sounds like the most heartbreaking thing. putting out an album and then not be able to tour it. then again, guess i put out some solo nonsense and not touring it, but... that’s different. i dunno -- we’re coming out with a new album in a couple months. this tour isn’t even finished and i’m already buzzin’ to preform the new stuff. i can go without the singing, but i don’t doubt that the boys will make it embarrassing for me nonetheless. any pet content is the best kind of content.

y’know, i haven’t met anyone to disprove that. yet, of course. you could still do some damage and taint the reputation. i’m sensitive, y’know. i know, count your blessings. i don’t set up widgets for just anyone now. yeah, i get that. the adrenaline alone makes it difficult to sleep, let alone all the shit that’s going on. places to be, people to see and such. well now you’re just being dramatic, the album release isn’t too far away. in fact, i think the world needs more of your content instead.

how exciting about the tour! not so much that it’s coming to a close, but the fact that you’ve been on the road, playing shows, and connecting with fans. i bet that’s such an exciting experience. when is your birthday and where is the show gonna be held? please tell me it’s the one back in australia, because any show being held on your birthday in the greatest country in the world is a cause for celebration. it’s nice to meet you luke, i’m alycia— a fellow aussie.

it’s always the most exciting time, innit? don’t think i’ll ever get tired of it. even if it is the most exhausting part, it’s also the most fun. to me, at least. but i’ve always been a sucker for an ounce of escapism. it’s on the 16th, gonna be in chicago. it’d be far too powerful of a show if it was at home and my birthday. kidding, kidding. that would be sick though. i can’t wait to preform back home, that’s for sure.
