Fic: Inscription [Chapter 10 of 15] Gustave/Verso, R Gustave Dessendre died in Paris in December 1905. But in Lumière, another Gustave opens his eyes and tries to fight back the erosion of his world. As time grows short, Verso waits across the ocean on the Continent - and makes his own plans for the destruction of his creator. Or: What if Gustave had been a Dessendre instead of Verso?

Gustave‘s ex shows up at his place late at night, walks in without a word, drenched in blood, and just sits there on the couch — breathing hard, staring at him. Gustave goes to the kitchen to get him a glass of water. When he comes back... the guy’s already dead on the sofa.
