GUYS GUESS WHAT!

Good news on the Arnold Rimmer by The Sarah Michelles lost media front, looking at an archived MySpace, I've learnt the guy who I thought was just a producer/session musician was actually one of the members of The Sarah Michelles! I have his work email! It's his song!

I'm still going to take my time pulling a solid research masterlist together before I contact him, bc we still don't know why Arnold Rimmer (and the two albums) are gone, and he may have done this deliberately, and we may need to make a case for it to be restored to streaming.

However, he almost certainly has his own copies of the tracks, meaning it's definitely not gone forever!

If I can point to these tumblr threads, and people's enthusiasm to have the song back, this may help. Otherwise, it would just be nice to tell a working musician how much we love his song!

Appears so - masterpost pending, my progress includes the email of the producer, so I'm not completely stumped! Plus, my musician cousin lived in Brighton, where The Sarah Michelles were based around the same time they were active. I'll tag anyone interested in helping when I post the masterpost.

SPOILERS FOR PART 1 OF THE FINALE:

After the BOMB that was part 1 of the finale, I wanna give my thoughts on who I think is real and who isn’t.

1: Bow and dough. This one’s pretty easy, Bow came in midway through the game unexpectedly, showing that me phone probably didn’t make her. Plus, her and Dough became ghosts, something none of the other cast ended up doing.

2: Recommended characters like Apple and Yinyang. In s3 yinyang shows clear signs of remembering his childhood (Think riggity Rex). I believe recommended characters are real people who are voted in by in-universe fans of the show.

3: Toilet, technically. While I don’t think Mephone made him, I think he was definitely created. He wouldn’t make toilet when he shows such hatred, and surprise at needing an assistant.
