Regarding the situation with Dandy's World,

I'll be the first person to admit that I did not read the document. I quite honestly can't make myself care to do so, especially about people I don't know and will never meet.

However, I have been told some key points in the whole situation, and I find the behavior displayed rather disgusting--especially regarding the cancer patient.

My mother died of cancer very recently. I was also groomed as a child. If you haven't guessed, those are pretty personal things to me. I find what they did intolerable.

I feel that it's also important to note that being manipulated does not excuse the actions you take. I was manipulated to hell by an online friend into basically destroying all of my relationships, and while my situation was not my fault, my actions were my responsibility. Please keep that in mind when looking at this situation.

Thus, I won't be posting dandys world art for the foreseeable future. Although considering how important the work has become to me, I may make some "legally distinct" (as my friend @pixipuk calls them) ocs in a similar fashion.

We'll see! Apologies if I got TMI.

Some vent art I made yesterday and did some finishing touches on today. I'm actually quite proud of it!

To explain this piece a little further, I've been dealing with some real rough mental issues my whole life. Executive dysfunction, depression, obsessions and compulsions, even possible narcissism. It hurts me, but it hurts others, too. It's to the point where I've lost trust in my own mind--hence the artwork. I see it almost as my enemy--the thing looking to ruin my life. So, the solution?

Think I'm finally ironing out some kind of Vee design! She's kind of a mishmash of traits from other iterations (and other cartoon characters entirely) that I like. But eh, I like her a lot.

Human vee having a square afro just felt perfect to me. I've had the thought of that for a while!

Oh, also, the bottom of her head is a tape player. I like to think other toons will play episodes on her head.

I can definitely get behind fruitcake, but I can't really see Sprout and Cosmo as either fully platonic or fully romantic. To me, they're like... secret third thing. Something deeper. "Dating? WORSE" type shit. Codependency scale broken from how codependent that strawberry is type shit. I need you to feel real type shit. Arthur why the fuck did you write these two this way type shit.

I also see Finn and Shrimpo as neither fully platonic nor romantic, but in a different fashion, hrm... I'll get into it at some point. I have many headcanons for that crustacean to get through first.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that; shit's been rough for me lately. Suffered a major loss when I was already in the middle of a depression, so that whole storm definitely wasn't good for my art motivation.

Thank you for the concern. All considering, I'm doing better than I thought I'd be. Just taking it day by day I suppose! New, much worse life chapter, but we make do with what we still have.

New art soon, I think! Admittedly it's been Dandy's World that's gotten me through. Only just recently picked up art again and it was for that stupid game. I've updated my headcanons and designs and I'd like for you folks to see!
