ok Feline Greenies Pet Treat Co, so you want me to give my cat 35 treats per day? I mean I know you’re the experts and I’m just a lowly consumer trying to appease my carnivorous furry companion, but like I gotta ask… are you 100% totally sure your company’s CEO isn’t secretly a giant hungry cat wearing a people-disguise?
OK why would you even think that

Why Gin Blossoms
I often go through Spotify binges, and they’re understandable—just music I listened to a lot when I was younger. There can be weeks of Guns ‘n Roses or the first Klaxons album or Tool (not on Spotify), some Billy Joel and Madonna. But the most perplexing thing of all is the Gin Blossoms.
I never listened to Gin Blossoms before. I don’t own any of their music; they meant nothing to me growing up. I understand they have a song in Empire Records, which was an important movie for some people, but not for me. Their career overlapped the times when I was a child, living in the Soviet Union, or unaware of FM radio. There is no reason why I should want to listen to the Gin Blossoms.
But when “Hey Jealousy” comes on at Shop Rite, I’ll browse the bread aisle until it ends. It’s not my favorite, but I love it. When I’m half-watching How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days on E!, and “Follow You Down” plays at the end, I’m so delighted. I love that song.
Gin Blossoms are not a one-hit wonder, if you’ve ever thought that. Spotify has both of their best-of albums: The Best of Gin Blossoms 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection, and Outside Looking In: The Best of the Gin Blossoms. They also have a lengthy discography, though I’ve never listened to it. The only songs I like are “Found Out About You,” “Follow You Down,” “Til I Hear It From You,” and “Hey Jealousy,” and I just play these on repeat for a few days every couple of months. I don’t know why.
