So I was invited to write a piece for @zukozine/Forged in Flame, which is a Zuko-centered charity fanzine benefiting the Burn Institute. The shipping period for the preorders has officially wrapped up, and if anyone's interested, the leftovers sale is live here and you can still get copies of the zine and most of the merch until the shop either runs out or December 17th comes around; whichever comes first. The zine came out really gorgeous, I gotta say, I've never actually been in one before and was really impressed with the results when I got my copy. There are the cutest illustrations included with my story and I about died over them, I tell you.

We're also cleared to share our contributions now, so mine's now up on AO3! I wrote about post-war Zuko going back to apologize to Song and being very confused by how said apology goes.

Summary: When Zuko and Iroh reunited right before the day of Sozin's Comet, Iroh tried to make his love and forgiveness for his nephew very clear. But after the initial reunion, Zuko seemed to be continuing to try and apologise to Iroh. How could Iroh make Zuko understand that he loves Zuko unconditionally? Or could Zuko be trying to tell him something else?
