All the chibi faces and figures I did for the Cosmere meet-up this month! (They were made into toten bags and cup/straw sleeves for the visitors to claim.) It was really fun!

Whoa, our second annual Cosmere meet-up this May 1st was such a blast! It was even bigger than last year with so many more people joining in, and the energy was just incredible—thanks so much to everyone who came out!

The venue was packed with things to see, from academic-style standees of Vin and Elend to a massive meme wall and interactive displays where people could rank their favorite books and characters. We also had a display of all the Metallic Arts tables, life-sized weapon replicas like Adolin's Shardblade, Vin's sword and Kaladin's spear, and a photo area with Knights Radiant banners where everyone could take pictures while swearing their oaths.

The community spirit was amazing, with tons of freebies, fan-made gifts, and even custom cookies being shared around, plus two special themed drinks we mixed for the event, one for Mistborn and the other for Stormlight. We also played the newly released Chinese version of the Mistborn DBG and held two panels discussing the literary inspirations behind the Cosmere and the latest news on film/TV adaptations.

Some art and graphic design for next week's local Cosmere meet-up! The event we're now preparing for, it is quite books and literature themed, so I picked Vin and Elend in modern academia outfits for the main visual XD They'll be made into life-size standees and I'm super excited about it!

(The last piece is a bookplate design with Hoid in actual fool costume as a nod to his origin from The Twelfth Night.)

Happy Chinese New Year 2026! 🎆

Here's another Hanfu AU piece featuring young Dalinar and little Adolin/Renarin, with them wandering through a bustling lantern festival. What they’re watching is a Zoumadeng (走马灯), a perfect match for the Year of the Horse! 🐎 These traditional lanterns use the heat from a candle to make an inner shaft rotate, creating the illusion of paper horses galloping in circles.

I really like drawing heartwarming moments for the Kholin family. I hope your new year is just as bright and full of warmth as these lanterns! ✨

The second piece serves as a costume study. Their look is inspired by Ming Dynasty winter wear and military attire—a perfect fit for the Kholin vibe!

I also wanted to share my design for this year’s CNY red envelope! It’s included in the new year community gift pack. It was a fantastic experience blending Cosmere with traditional Chinese symbolism XD (More under the cut.)

The design incorporates stylized horse motifs inspired by the musicspren from Stormlight Archive, with the Cosmere logo in the middle, integrated with copper coin and begonia patterns (symbolizing blossoming wealth). I also fused the Dragonsteel logo with Han Dynasty dragon art to symbolize “The spirit of the dragon-horse” (龙马精神), representing vitality and spirit for the new year. (You can spot this pattern woven into the background of my main piece!)

We celebrated 20 years of Cosmere in Shanghai with an epic meet-up on May 1st!​​ We turned a cozy café into a fandom hub—complete with life-size character stands, a ​​custom cake​​, exclusive merch and artbooks, and even a prize draw. The event also marked the ​​debut of Simplified Chinese edition Arcanum Unbounded, and we had over ​​20 board games​​ set up for people nerding out. Dozens of fans showed up, making the whole day a great success. I had the honor of creating the ​​main visual for the event and I'm glad to see everyone bonding over Cosmere. Huge thanks to all who came! ❤️

It’s been ​​12 incredible years​​ of diving into the franchise, and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate this milestone. Happy 20th, Cosmere—here’s to many more!

So it's a very much delayed piece for the Chinese new year featuring Shallan & Jasnah buying new year flowers 💐

I was too occupied lately to finish this one before the new year period ends… I think it's okay to just treat it as a normal hanfu AU!

This year is the year of snake 🐍, just as what we see with Shallan's headdress! The flowers before them are moth orchids, usually prepared during new year in Chinese-speaking regions. Also, orchid translates as "兰" (lán) and it's the second character of Shallan's name (沙兰), which is why I chose the very flower XD

Also, I'm kind of let down with Shallan's quite limited interactions with Jasnah after Oathbringer. I really miss those days when I drew them together and this piece is a revival ❤️
