this might be a shot in the dark but there's an ep in vol 2 that's going to be titled shock jock, and they're probably going to be electrocuting the demogorgon. it just made me think about that scene in s2 with dustin wanting to see if max likes him by feeling "the electricity" as steve advised him to. only he noticed it between lucas and max instead. im just putting this out there! i wonder if that will come back with another developing couple...

Ok we know that the plan is to get Will back into the hive to kill Vecna, but imagine they're about to carry out the plan, and Robin volunteers to go with Will, and Mike, being the jealous gay that he is, goes with them because he doesn't want Will and Robin to spend more time alone than they already are

genuinely cannot believe this is from the show. like. this isn’t fanfiction. this isn’t fanmade. this is canonically how Mike looks at Will after seeing him kill a demogorgon Vecna style.

Obsessed with the idea of El and Mike having a private conversation just before something big happens, maybe the scene from the trailer, where Mike tries to remind El about the rooftop conversation they had, about how they could write their own story after everything is over, but El who has seen how things are now, who has decided on her part of the plan, who has chosen to stand along side her sister and her brother and her dad to protect the people that she cares about (including Mike, because they still love each other even if they aren't in love with each other) takes a breath and tells him that this isn't like one of his campaigns and he doesn't get to write the ending, not this time, and when they look at each other they both finally understand.

And maybe we see Will watch them walk away separately, but when Mike comes back with a different look on his face Will asks what the two of them spoke about. And Mike tells him in a way, maybe not explicitly, but clearly tells him that they won't see each other again until everyone makes it out of this town alive, and Will understands El's decision and Mike's unwavering support for the people around him.

And maybe, in the heat of the moment or a quiet break, we see Will and Mike together. Will and Mike, Mike and Will, just like it's always been. And maybe it's the endgame and they are so, so close and Will, just in case, in case he never gets to do it...

You missed a little, but in Will's flash backs there were also Joyce and Jonathan; in addition to Mike, there were also memories that shape Will's personality.
