Hi
I really miss you, Faye.
Or maybe, not yet. Goodbye for now.
What Sarah Said
We loved this song. And we asked ourselves countless times, "who's gonna watch you die?". I hope you can see how much you are loved.
Maybe Goodbye
I promised myself I would no longer post here. That after that āone switchā, Iād move on and forget how I chose sadness just by pouring my hearts out here.
But today, you pushed me to do this. This is my only connection to you. Your Facebook wall is now hogged by questions, āWhy too soon?" I only ask for one thing, āIs this really our goodbye?ā.
Theyāre talking about how nice and thoughtful you were. Now, using past tense hurts more than the news i heard this morning. Theyāre talking about that this is all some stupid joke and that theyāre all waiting to hear the punchline. No matter how wrong it my seem, a bad joke is better than admitting that youāre gone.
But here I am, trying to find you in our little basements. I know few of your friends knew about this account and Iām fortunate enough to see this side of you⦠the side you choose to come home to after a long day of concealing our certain sadness.
This used to be our lifeline. Or sad movies. Or our book genre. Our team and our best boss in the world. Or that one thing that binds usā our sadness.
I havenāt cried. Yet. Because that would be admitting that itās true. I just lay there, asking God to wake me up. Then I turned cold and Iām still cold now. Then I thought, I can drink coffee or pull a blanket to feel warm. But what about you? Can I still keep you warm?
You were a superb friend, no doubt. You never gave up on trying to call that mini reunion. Walang palya and I could use a lesson or two on how to be a kind of friend that you areā were. Your Ates were supposed to meet tomorrow but we all bailed and here you are, trying to bring us together anyway. You were a great teammate and supporter. You were a lot of things and Iām a witness to your amazing strength. I pray that no one ever sees this basement. This is and will always be our connection.
So, Iām looking back one more time. Maybe this is our goodbye.

I won't look back. This is my turning point.

So, you realized your American Dream. I learned about something else. Go back to page one. Maybe you'll get it this time.

if i had to explain what heartbreak was, i would say itās you. i would say heartbreak was the feeling i got in my chest when i could tell you were pulling away. i would say heartbreak is looking you in the eyes & hearing you say āi love youā but knowing you didnāt mean it. i would say heartbreak is laying in bed crying at 3am, because i knew you didnāt care anymore. i would say heartbreak is falling so in love with everything about you, and thinking you actually loved me too. iāve always heard talk about how it feels to not be loved by the one person you loved, but i never knew how badly the pain really was, until it happened to me.

I loved him, and he swore he did too but as time passed by I heard of him less often, until gradually going on like that we seized to speak. he left me with half a broken heart, partaking his journey with the other half leaving me half full to love, half full to live.

Slow morning
Here I am, demanding the cursor to move.
Often, when we have a crush, when we lust for a person, we see only a small percentage of who they really are. The rest we make up for ourselves. Rather than listen, or learn, we smother them in who we imagine them to be, what we desire for ourselves, we create little fantasies of people and let them grow in our hearts. And this is where the relationship fails. In time, the fiction we scribble onto a person falls away, the lies we tell ourselves unravel and soon the person standing in front of you is almost unrecognizable, you are now complete strangers in your own love. And what a terrible shame it is. My advice: pay attention to the small details of people, you will learn that the universe is far more spectacular an author than we could ever hope to be.ā
