At some point in our lives, we get blindly consumed by what we see on social media.

It has become a social norm to ‘take a selfie’. We don’t ever stop to think what ‘selfie’ actually stands for… Self-portrait photo?

We see the models, the vegans, the bloggers who are paid to travel the world in beautiful clothes, and of course, the foodies. Most of us scroll through newsfeed after newsfeed after newsfeed, before realising that our bus stop was T-20 minutes ago. We don’t see them as real people, but as disney characters wearing Manolo Blahniks.

Do you remember when computers first came out, and we would use the local 1kg phone book to call our friends. We are certainly living a more technologically saavy existence, but what ever happened to the days when the Kardashians were the Hilton’s puppy dogs.
