Do I think that Max Verstappen's "menaces" of leaving F1 are coming from a genuine concern and discontent for the new regulations ? Absolutely.

Do I also think that his take is influenced by the fact that Redbull is mediocre right now ? Yes.

We should listen to a 4x champion when he says that the sport doesn't feel fun anymore but we should also consider that he's biased (like any normal human)

Sometimes, when the world is dark and lacks hopes, piarles (friendship or otherwise) feels a bit one-sided.

Because when you see Charles's PR it's Ferrari mainly and promo stuff(with a bit of his love and family life). On the other hand you have Pierre, that post everyone and their mother, but if he can include a Charles Leclerc's photo or mention him in a random interview, Pierre will do it every single time, without a fail.

And ik everyone uses social app differently, but F1 is a big PR game today, and both CL and PG know what they're doing. Plus there's the F1 media/fandom narrative that doesn't always help. So yeah feels a bit one-sided (for a lack of better term).

Then Charles Perceval Leclerc will say, out of nowhere, that his bond with Pierre is the best one on the grid and that no other relationship can compare to them, bc it's not as meaningful as theirs.
