“You are so infuriating!” Katara’s fists clutched into fists as she glared at Zuko. “This was my listing. Why are you even here?”

“Pakku said you needed some moral support.” Zuko said as he flipped the brochure on the calcutta counter top. 

“Not from you,” Katara slapped the brochure back down and grabbed Zuko’s wrist. She tugged him down a hallway but stopped midway when she heard footsteps headed towards them. She turned down another hallway before shoving Zuko into a room. She shut the door as quietly as possible. Then turned her full anger to Zuko, who was already stepping around the staged bed, looking around and flipped open the curtain where there was a less than average window overlooking the backyard. “You have got to go!”

Zuko looked over his shoulder at her, “You’re the one that pushed me in here.”

“Fine! Then stay in here. Do not touch anything! You are not taking this one from me too!” Katara turned around and pulled at the door. Then pulled at the door again. Then turned the knob in a different direction and pulled at the door again. “Oh my gods!” She yanked as hard as she could. She pushed at it instead of pulling and still it didn’t budge.

“What are you doing?” Zuko smirked as he sat on the bed.

“The door is stuck.” Katara pulled and then pushed again. 

The smirk slowly slipped from his face. He got up and reached over Katara for the door. She moved out of the way as Zuko began pulling at the door. There was a quiet curse as he copied her motions. Then hit the door. “Well, that is stuck.”

“That’s what I said,” Katara grumbled. She began hitting the door, “Help!”

“The only other couple here were leaving when you shoved me in here.” Zuko grabbed Katara’s wrist to keep her from giving herself bruises. “Just call your brother or the owner.”

Katara began patting her pockets before whining. “My phone is on the counter! What about you?”

“It died on the way here.” Zuko stepped back and sat on the edge of the bed. “So, I left it in the car to charge.”

“Fuck,” Katara swore and looked down at the wrist Zuko had still not let go of.  She yanked it out of his hand and paced the room. “I had one more couple coming today but it's a twilight showing.” She walked around the bed to the small window and looked out the window to the concrete slab two stories below. Couldn’t climb out that way. She turned back to the door. “Try pulling again.”

“It's stuck. We’ve both tried.” Zuko leaned back and watched Katara pace again. “A 25.995 million dollar house and the doors get stuck. You should probably put that in your brochure.”

Katara turned with a glare. “Just shut up. I know you’re loving this. But shut up.”

“Make me,” Zuko rolled his eyes. Katara was on him in two seconds pushing him down into the bed as she straddled his lap. He blinked up in surprise. “I wasn’t-.”

“Shut. Up.” Katara breathed into the space between them. “This was supposed to be my big sale of the year. I can’t sell if I’m stuck with you in this room.”

“You were the one who closed the door.”

“Ugh,” Katara groaned and sat up. She crossed her arms over her chest. “How was I gonna know that the dumb door would get stuck?” 

Zuko shrugged the best he could before crossing his arms behind his head. He shifted causing Katara to go off kilter. She frowned realizing the position they were in. She began to climb off when Zuko grabbed her by the hips, stilling her movements. 

She looked a little surprised and settled back in his lap. “We can’t do it here.” Though this would be one of the least risque places they had done it in. But this trend really needed to end. 

“We've got time. No one else will be here and what-?” Zuko looked around, “Suki will probably notice something is up in an hour after you haven't texted a tiktok.”

“What if-,”

Zuko raised up and pulled Katara down into a kiss, “Don’t ‘what if’ the fun out of this.” He continued to kiss her though her gasp. It wasn't long before she was kissing back. Her hands sliding across his chest and one went up into his hair. She felt a smirk grow against her lips and hands slide down to her thighs and then back up under her dress. His fingers slid between her legs to her warm center then rubbing his fingers against her clothed clit.

Her body responded immediately, pushing into the hand. “Fuck, we have to hurry and do this. I am not getting caught like this.” Katara whispered into the kiss. She felt a smirk against her lips and fingers hook into her undies and pull down. 

There was a shift as Katara sat back up to help shimmy from her panties. Zuko worked on opening his pants and shifted to grab his wallet. Katara’s jaw dropped as he grabbed out a condom, “You have got to be kidding me. You can remember a condom but not charge your phone?” 

“Eh,” Zuko shrugged. “We don’t have to use it right? I was just thinking fast clean up but if  you wanna drip on the staged furniture-,” He looked like he would toss it aside so Katara caught his wrist. 

“I’m sorry,” She smiled and blinked down at him in a slightly sarcastic manner. But was kinda happy he had started thinking that if this happened where clean up was needed to be fast. Oh Spirits. They were doing this too often. 

Zuko smiled up to her more genuinely, “Apology accepted.” He reached down and jerked himself a few strokes. 

“Shut up,” Katara leaned forward and began to kiss him again. She could feel a few tugs between their bodies. She paused and looked between their bodies, Zuko had the condom half way on. “Hurry up.”

“For someone who was against this in the beginning, you sure are eager.” Zuko pushed Katara’s hair over her shoulder so he could see what he was doing. 

“It’s like you’re begging for us to get caught,” Katara muttered as she scooted her hips forward a bit more and Zuko’s cock lined up to the achingness between her legs.

“I could be into that,” The male agent said with a smirk. He pushed his hips up slightly, finding his place in her.

“What?!” Suki’s voice was getting closer. “Katara!”

“Keep coming! We’re on the third floor!”

Zuko pouted slightly as he watched Katara finally pull down the dress to cover her body. He worked on making himself presentable again. Grabbing a few tissues that were on a work desk in the room. He tied off the condom and slid it into a tissue. He looked at the bed and shook his head. They’d definitely needed to hide the comforter. He grabbed it and pulled it from the bed about the time that Suki had made it to the other side of the door. He shoved the comforter into the closet and closed it with a light click he hoped no one else heard. Then turned and picked up the light pink lace from the floor and shoved that into his back pocket.

“Suki! Oh my gods!” Katara said through the door. “Get us out of here!”

“Why didn’t you call the owners or a lock smith?” Suki asked, trying to jiggle the door.

“Neither of us have our phones on us.”

“Us? Who else is in there?” Suki paused in trying to push open the door.

“Hey Suki,” Zuko called out.

“Zuko?”

“Yeah, hey.” Zuko walked closer to the door and pulled Katara away from it. He lifted his hands to smooth down her hair. “The door is stuck.”

“I see that.” Suki tapped on the door a few times. “You guys okay?”

“Yeah, we haven't been here long.” Katara called out to her friend as she undid her hair. Her and Zuko ran their fingers through it. Katara mentally cursed every time Zuko yanked out a knot. “Can you have someone come help us?”

“Yeah, yeah on it.” Suki stepped away from the door.

Katara looked around the room as she pulled her hair back up into the high ponytail. She slid on her shoes that were at the corner of the bed. The comforter was nowhere to be seen but all the pillows lined up perfectly. “We were almost caught.”

“Yeah, but we weren’t.” Zuko gave a guilty smile.

“We can never do that again.” Katara searched the ground around the bed. Where are they? 

“Fucking at a listing or missionary? Was that too-?”

“Both. We have to stop doing this.” Katara stood up from where she was hunched over looking under the bed for her panties and turned to Zuko. “We really need to stop.”

Blue eyes caught golden ones before Zuko’s eyes turned away. “I know.” He looked up when he felt a hand on his arm.

“We need to stop before true feelings start mixing in with orgasm feelings.” Katara tilted her head. 

Zuko focused in on her immediately. “I meant what I said.”

“Yeah, when there's still a glow. Those aren’t really feelings, those are just sexy time words to make you feel bubbly.” Katara shook her head and turned to look around the room again.

She didn’t get far when Zuko grabbed her wrist. “I meant it, I mean it. I like you, Katara. Probably more than that but I’m not just on some high right now. I like you and I’ve really liked you for some time now.”

“W-wha-?” Katara shook her head. “Just help me find my underwear and put your shoes on. We’ll discuss this tomorrow.”

“No,” Zuko let go of Katara and crossed his arms. “You’ll put this off. And I don’t want to put this off any longer.” 

“It’s not like this has been an actual thing.” Katara mumbled as she stepped away from Zuko. She could taste the lie on her tongue and feel this small prick of aching in her heart. It wasn’t that she didn’t think of this. But right now while stuck in a room and no real escape if Zuko turns out to be joking and playing with her feelings. No, this, this could wait.

“Well I want it to be.” Zuko stepped closer to her. “You can’t tell me, you don’t feel it.”

Katara blinked up at him, her heart beating faster. “I-,”

Zuko’s hand lifted to her face and he slowly closed the gap, lips stopping centimeters from her own. “Tell me you don’t feel it.”

“I-,” Katara closed her eyes and felt her body practically surrender to Zuko. Like he already had her mind, body and soul. And maybe he did. Maybe between the bickering and make outs and fucking. They’d already exchanged a love just for them. “I really like you too.”

“Really?” He smiled and looked between the two blue eyes staring back at him with honesty and happiness. With a soft smile and a nod, Zuko closed the distance and kissed her. 

“Could not have timed that better.” Suki stepped in with a large smile and a screwdriver. 

The two broke apart and smiled big. Zuko wrapped Katara in a hug. Then leaned down and whispered. “Still can’t help you find those undies. I have to meet Uncle for dinner and deliver the good news.” He gave Katara’s butt a pat and kissed her good bye. “I’ll call you after. Keep your phone with you during that tour.” He stepped away grabbing his shoes from the floor. “Maybe not close this door. Bye Suki.” He kissed her cheek too. “I have a girlfriend now.” He said all giddy and with a giggle.

Suki laughed and Katara kicked out her leg to kick Zuko in the butt. “Get out of here.”
