He had to drag his gaze away from the arrangement of flowers before answering Zahara. “In a week.” It wasn’t that the flowers were uncommonly beautiful, they were just…uncommon especially in his chambers. Did she think it was too drab? Certainly the furniture were ornate and the atmostphere befitted a monarch. His thoughts didn’t linger long on the idea that his space needed a woman’s touch. It was fine as it was, even without the pop of golden petals and verdant leaves. “Perhaps earlier,” he said as he leveled a gaze at her. “While you are there, I’d like you to convince Her Grace that the situation here at the castle in under control. And that the perpetrators will not be striking again.”
Zahara nodded without any argument, as per usual. It wasn't that she didn't have thoughts or desires of her own she just knew she was not in a position where they mattered least of all to a royal. At his next command she paused, "I shall do so if that is what you desire. But I don't know how successful I might be. Such reassurances coming from me might not hold much weight, your Highness."
