Stupid and random AU idea because I'm mad after reading Metal's bio, I love found family dynamics and I fell in love with TF One:

Metal Sonic (or Neo Metal, I think it would work too) somehow gets lost in time and space and end ups in pre-war Cybertron.

Somehow a certain pair of miners finds him and don't understand a thing of what he beeps but Orion wants to adopt him and ends up convincing Dee, and Metal naturally is confused as fuck at now being stuck living in a place where robots are the main population and they have at least some rights (obviously it could be better, but it's something, unlike his home planet)
