Hey, hai, hello! :D
So about me a little.. Hm.
Well, I'm Leanna, I'm finally twenty-two and still a Disney girl to the core, always will be. I love me some food. Not all food though, I'm rather picky.. But when it comes to sweets, give me anything and everything.
Food man, food..
Ahem. I also happen to like some unf'y pictures, furries, books and music, and of course random text posts that make me giggle. :3 Everything else is pretty much fandom related, so if you wanna see just click the link right under Goodreads. :3
If you'd like to see my little nsfw side, just send me a message, I'll happily send you the url. :D
Thinking of deleting this blog. I don’t ever use it anymore.. Although, I do kinda miss all the show things. But it isn’t the same anymore since I don’t have cable so everything is spoiled for me if I log in. Ah gosh.. I dunno. Zymette will probably be gone soon. Sad..
PAULSON: But I have a question about the Poltegeist thing. Was that the moment, or was there a moment that preceded that, where you thought, “I want to do what they’re doing?” I know that happened to me with a movie I saw when I was young.
PASCAL: I think ’80s-era Steven Spielberg definitely shaped a lot of [my] fantasies. I particularly focused on Poltergeist. I just found it so fascinating; it got inside my imagination. Even if you watch it now, it really holds up. There’s not another horror movie that is actually a family drama. But it was definitely around that time. I would go to the movies very often with my father, because he just loved to go to the movies. He wouldn’t really play by the rules—my parents were so young and they were Chilean immigrants in San Antonio, Texas. It was all about going to movies, rock concerts, and Spurs games. And the primary influence in my life was movies. It was an interest that never went away. The first fucking thing that we did when we met was go to the movies.
this girl that sits with me was complaining..about another girl. because she likes the same band as her “but doesn’t dress like it” so obviously she doesn’t really listen to them
Can I just say that I think this is the way Mulan should appear int the parks. In the beginning of the movie they make it very clear that the dress she wears to meet the matchmaker is not comfortable nor does it represent her personality. She spends the whole of the film proving that she is not a prize to be won or just a pawn to be married off at earliest convenience. She proves her worth in this outfit. She saves China in this outfit. She falls in love in this outfit. She risks her life, makes her strongest friendships, and changes the entire country IN THIS OUTFIT. Then they have her walk around the park in the same outfit she wore in the first scene of the movie and I think it is really negative toward her character. That is not who she is.
