"I would say 'it could be worse', but ..."
With only one of his Pokemon in his possession, the trainer found himself glancing about with some anxiety as he wandered through the dry climate. Thanks to a strange bird symbol on the side of his arm, Touya had managed to figure out that his housing was bound to be the house with the same symbol-- but that alone didn't explain much of anything. Ares was what it apparently represented-- but what significance did it have to him? Not to mention the fact he was somewhere outside Unova made him slightly weary. He did love a good adventure but--
-- it'd be nice to have a map, too.
The orange pig in his arms seemed to pick up on the boy's worry and appeared concerned himself, hazel eyes blinking bemusedly at the unfamiliar scents of the forest and, no doubt, of the creatures within it.
"Shh.. shh.." he cooed softly, petting the Tepig gently as he attempted to comfort the Pokemon as best as possible. However, it was then that a rustle was heard behind the two of them, causing the fire type to leap out of the trainer's arms in order to stand defensively before him.
"....?"
"Someone there, buddy?"
