Help me study abroad in Istanbul

I have recently been accepted to study in Istanbul, Turkey for my last semester of college in spring of 2016. I am excited about experiencing a whole new culture that is vastly different compared to the United States. Learning first hand what it is like to live in a primarily Muslim culture is something I would mostly likely never get to experience outside of study abroad.

Any bit of money helps. Any funds raised will go towards my program fee, and living expenses while abroad (food, shampoo, books, etc). On an education visa in Turkey, I am not allowed to get a job, so I need to raise as much as I can in advance. Thanks!

For quite some time now, I’ve been convinced that art was my passion. I wanted to be a designer, a photographer, a creator. I was willing to dedicate any kind of money, time, or effort it took to be part of the art community. I wouldn’t say that my passion for the subject has gone away. I still love to do those things, but I haven’t wanted to go the extra mile. 

Now the focus, more than ever, is on traveling, and maybe that was always the focus. I can’t remember a time when traveling wasn’t a goal. Any career I ever desired involved traveling. When it came to photography, it was always about going on adventures, seeing new things, capturing people and experiences. 

Nothing else has ever motivated me to be healthy and fit so I can go and do whatever I want, or made me limit my material goods and save money. Traveling has made me happier and more independent compared to anything else I have done with my life.
