just saw people complaining very dramatically about people shipping Uma's with m!trainer and it made me feel icky.

First of all; Do not the horse

Second of all (ignoring the first point entirely) doesn't everyone deserve to be self indulgent with the horse game? Shipping m!trainer and Uma probably (most the time at least) means the shipper is male and it is a self indulgent self insert, no? (Unless we're referring to the anime, I guess)- but even they seem like self insert surrogates anyway!

Personally- yeah. I do see pretty much every Uma as gay, and I'm not interested in Trainer X Uma at all, even as a self ship (do not horse is my favourite saying lol)

But that doesn't mean people can't have fun.

It also means that people aren't allowed to complain or be annoyed. But if you're allowed to enjoy Uma X Uma or f!trainer X Uma, then someone else is allowed to enjoy m!trainer X Uma.

I'd hope I'm not gonna cause a fight. But the last long text post I posted didn't really get seen so, idc. Just wanted to get thoughts out there I guess.

I don't feel this should be controversial to say. I'm mostly open to discussion but I stand by what I said.

Outfit repeating in shows

Hello.

Saw a Supernatural post today that made me think about one of my favourite things that not a lot of TV shows do and that is; outfit repeat.

Repeating character outfits not only grounds the story in reality by showing visually that the character doesn't just have a never ending closest, but also can give characters more personality by showcasing outfits they're drawn towards or wear often. Also it's just a whole lot more relatable and honestly very fun to watch when you can recognise the clothes from previous episodes.

A few examples of this is;

Season one of a aforementioned Supernatural where you could see the boys where the same shirts over and over again (and also Dean's leather jacket 😭). This one's more an example of me having fun with it (also good visual storytelling. The boys live out of Duffles, they definitely only have a small selection of clothes they rotate). Personally I remember Sam wearing this one shirt I really liked and loved whenever he would have if on.

Downtown Abbey (a show I've only watched some of lol). Even for being a historical drama at least in the seasons I've watched they do not blow everything one expansive wardrobes like some other shows. This one I think is a good example of giving the characters some minor personality quirks or traits, and again is good story telling since it was more likely ladies to have a modest collection good quality dresses instead of buying a new dress everyday and for every occasion. An example I love from this is Edith and this shirt and skirt combo we see her wear a lot, it gives us a little insight into what she likes without ever saying anything. We can tell by how often she wears it, giving her a little more personality with very little effort. Also, honorable mention for that red dinner dress Mary likes wearing, without saying anything it gives her more personality to potentially have a favourite dinner dress we see her wear often, we even see her request it from the wash (not directly, but we hear it from Anna-I think, it may have been a different maid).

I think The Great may have also done this. Maybe not to the same extent but I do remember specifically Elizabeth and Marial wearing a lot of the same outfits which was nice. Sorry The Great fans, I don't have much more to say (on this topic at least, I did enjoy The Great and have good things to say about it 👍)

Didn't originally make this for Pride Month but I procrastinated on it so long that now it is the month of the gays so, might as well use it to celebrate

Umamusume X nails?

Decided to do Gold Ship inspired nails today, now that I have time to do them. Forgot to cut and shape them but oh well, they'll be right (hopefully)

Also realised after painting the first nail that I could have done revamped bi nails to rivel my ones from last year now that I have a better blue. I might do that next though, regardless if it's June or not for I am bi all year round ❤️💜💙

My sister and I both decided I needed to draw more honses so I did. Definitely will be drawing more in the future but this is all I can fit in this page 😅 (it's Golshi's fault. I drew her first and she ended up very big so, I had to work around her lol).
