Was it bluelizard sunscreen that did that to your face? Because bluelizard brand specifically makes me bright red and feel like I got burned. I'm not sure what the ingredient is in it that does it (I think it's butyloctyl salicylate. I have an aspirin sensitivity and any sunscreen ingredient that ends in salate is derived from salicylic acid/aspirin), but it's awful.
Even if it wasn't blue lizard, you're probably having an allergic reaction to it. If it's a chemical sunscreen or one with BOS in it, I would get checked for an aspirin allergy and try a mineral sunscreen with no BOS in it. If it was a mineral sunscreen, it's possible to be allergic to titanium or zinc, but it's less likely than the chemical ones. It's also possible to be allergic to cinnamate, which is similar to salicylate, but it's rarer and derived from cinnamon.
Thanks for the advice and thanks for apologising in you other ask. It's all good btw, I can tell you have good intentions by it and it may be some help 😊 thank you
(please ignore this if you're not this anon, thanks 😅)
