Got obsessed with the dynamic of these losers
Spider-Man Brand New Day was such a fun movie, man
Is it just me or does Frank just work infinitely better as a secondary character than a main character? I loved him in Daredevil and in Spider-man but I got so fucking tired of him in his own show to the point of starting to despise him a bit. I'm glad that bnd finally showed a new side of him
idc frank castle realising he had charged in to fight the hulk and then trying so hard to get out of it was peak comedy to me
SPIDERMAN BND SPOILERS!!!!!
ik it should be the standard but i was actually so impressed that they had peter admit to & apologise to mj for kissing her when she was (unknowingly to him) possessed. like the apology is such a peter thing to do ofc but a big franchise like marvel putting that little bit of care in was so refreshing
Frank Castle summarized.
I joke but this is actually kind of comic accurate btw.
i really really loved how the supergirl 2026 movie subverted the 'if you kill them ur no better then them' trope, i loved that the conflict was not that he doesnt deserve to die but rather that ruthye deserves to not have to kill him, that she is just a child and should not have to carry that burden along with everything she had already been through. i really loved how kara killing him recontextulizes her actions leading up to that moment, how it becomes clear that it was never her intention to let him live, but to keep ruthye safely away from the fight.
ive always disliked the anti revenge narrative because sometime people do just do things that are unforgivable and wont be stopped by the current system, but here kara never said ruthye should forgive him, but rather that ruthye deserved to live on and it is made far more impactfull by the fact that it is in the same fight where kara accepts the suit and truly becomes supergirl. superman is the shield, supergirl is the sword, supergirl fights so girls like ruthye dont have to.

How I feel about the Odyssey controversy (AAAAAAAAAAADSOIJAIOJkjfhhO)
I'm so fucking fed up with the Odyssey hate. THE FILM IS NOT EVEN OUT YET???
GOD. What's going on with everybody? Why is everyone taking it personally? You know what the best thing about movies is? If you don't think you'll like them, you can just not watch them. It's that easy.
I have many many doubts on the movie myself and when it comes to being confused about the choices Nolan made, I honestly understand all of them. But what's up with the constant aggressiveness, the hate comments, the improvised historical inaccuracy and casting experts?
Looks like the Odyssey has suddenly become everyone's favorite piece of literature. Everyone's a Homer expert. Some of you are reacting to the matter like it's about your own personal story and Nolan is trying to make you look bad. It is that serious apparently.
You know how we have wars and genocides going on, politicians are cannibals and fascists and all? These are actually hurtful matters. I promise a movie being historically inaccurate is NOT going to hurt you. You're going to be okay. Helen of Troy being black won't get your family killed. Ellen Page having an unknown role in the movie won't compromise your future. IT IS NOT THAT SERIOUS.
DON'T WATCH THE FUCKING MOVIE. JUST DON'T.
You know what happens when filmmakers adapt a book? They adapt it. That's right. They take the content, they put their soul into it and it becomes theirs. Homer's Odyssey and Nolan's are two different things, two different stories, with different characters. If that doesn't sit right with you, guess what.
I've been studying Homer at school for most of my life, I think I've got a pretty good idea about the main aspects of his work and how a faithful adaptation should be like. I'm not an expert but I think I know more than 80% of the people liking the most basic and superficial hate comment under the trailer. Cause you're not going to convince me y'all know the Odyssey so well. People just want to complain and take every chance they get to jump on the hate train.
I'm glad it's not going to be a faithful adaptation! I'm relieved, cause I already know Homer's Odyssey and now I want to see Nolan's take. That's the beauty of cinema.
I watched videos of greek people trying to explain why the movie sucks. First of all, IT IS NOT OUT YET. Secondly, the only thing you need to know if a movie is good or not is personal taste!
Personally, I'm excited about it. I love Nolan. I love how big his movies feel, I love their scenography, their score, their actors and just generally how much of a good time I have watching them. That's all I want from the Odyssey!
Maybe I'll hate it. We'll see. But I can promise you I'll move on quickly and I'll be satisfied knowing I formed my own opinion without annoying the hell out of everyone with the most superficial and people pleasing comments known to mankind first!
Enjoy.
With brand new day coming out soon, what are your thoughts on Daredevil being in the movie? Personally I can't see how he wouldn't show up at least for one scene cause c'mon, Frank is there, the Hand is there, even Sheila has a small cameo. Matt HAS to be there right?
The only thing that keeps me from being 100% sure is my theories have never been right once lol.
1x10 // 2x03
Look, I care about our friend. I believe in what he's doing, I believe the city needs him.
If they try to shove an Elektra/Matt/Karen love triangle up our asses I will stop watching the show for good I'm so serious
that one time i hoped they didn't follow the comics ;_; hughie campbell & billy butcher || sign of the times
The Boys - 'Blood and Bone' - S05E08
Watching the boys as a found family lover is not for the weak cause what do you mean they're constantly splitting up or arguing or eventually trying to kill each other.
Also where is my found family content? All I can find is Butcher or Homelander stuff
No no he’s got a point..
