a groan, because she so badly wants to just close her laptop and say forget it about her assignments, but she'd really like to have a fall back just in case things don't end up going how she wants with the whole music career thing. so here she was, knee deep in a college math course. SHE WANTS TO BE AN ENGLISH TEACHER, WHY DOES MATH EVEN MATTER? teddy has the slightest bit of a pout as she looks towards jack. it doesn't take long for her expression to soften slightly. they were there for emotional support, and to eat all the candy on her grandma's candy bar as well, i guess. so far the emotional support was working, until jack is beckoning her over.
MAYBE A SMALL FIVE TO FIFTEEN MINUTE BREAK WOULDN'T BE DETRIMENTAL TO HER SOLVING THE SAME EQUATION SHE'D BEEN STUCK ON FOR THE PAST TEN.
“ all that talking about kit-kats is really making me want one, so you better have one, or so help me, babe. ” she's closing her laptop and getting out of the dining room chair she'd been using the past couple of hours for her school work. “ i'm still hungover and i just hate math, ” is all she has to say at first. she's taking a piece of candy off the table next to jack and popping it in her mouth as well. “ i wish that i didn't have to have a fallback and things could just go the way i want them to. y'know, big music career right off the bat and all the glitz and the glam with it. ”
