Freelancer giving Gavin a rose quartz and telling him it helps with self love.
He's heard about crystals — obviously, he's dealt with some even trying a crucifix to "banish" him, does not work like that — so at first he was skeptical.
It was like the pink stone was mocking him in a way. Every time he held it in his hands, he'd study it. He did like feeling the weight of it in his palm or in his pocket, but he still didn't think much about it.
He almost thought his love was calling him out on his self esteem in his down days, that stung, but... The thought that they wanted to make him feel better...
That's the part that made him think it actually works... That his partner wants to make everything better that they tried some crystal to make his worries go away.
Did it end up working? Maybe. Maybe not.
All he knew was that he was starting to feel better about himself with the crystal around.
So many of the redacted couples are undeniably hot. I love it when hot people get together. Just two very attractive people down for each other. Do you need a third?

darlin and sam being the ultimate grumpy aunt/uncle duo to the pack's kids like
the shaw pups sneak out, get drunk at some random party, have an awful time
"who do we call?" "fuck dad's gonna kill us" "i wanna go hoommmeee"
"call uncle sam!"
and then sam picks up at 2am and is like
"if you kids are fucking drunk again istg--"
*silence on the other side of the phone*
*loud sigh* "send me your location"
*meekly* "thank you uncle sam"
and sam wakes up darlin cuz if he has to go, they're coming to, these are their nephews and nieces.
and darlin just wordlessly climbs into the car, speeds down the highway, makes tire marks as they stop in front of the kids, and rolls down the window.
"get the fuck in."
the kids quietly, ashamedly climb in.
once the doors are shut, seat belts buckled, and they're back on the highway, darlin' grins in the rearview and says,
"who wants mcdonalds?"
the kids cheer. they sleep over at sam and darlin's to sober up. darlin defends them with their life to david, who has no choice but to sigh and admit defeat. angel is secretly thrilled, but has to put up a stern front to back up their husband.
the shaw pups scheme another outing, just so darlin can come get them again.

“Open your mouth. Wide.”
For the past 10 minutes Gavin has watched as Damien unsuccessfully tried to apply the numbing cream the doctor had given them for Lasko's gums. The air elemental was more or less awake now, however per the anesthetic effects, he was having trouble with his motor skills and awareness. Leading him to be adorably groggy and surprisingly combative to having fingers in his mouth.
“Hm-hm”, Lasko hummed as he pressed his lips together and moved his head to avoid Damien's insistent fingers.
“Give him a break Wildfire, Lasky gets overwhelmed easily”, Gavin called from his spot in one of the chairs near the hospital room’s door. They had come as moral support for Lasko’s wisdom teeth removal appointment. Lasko had been freaking out over it all week, so Freelancer, as sweet as they are, suggested he bring company.
As it turns out only himself and Damien were available on the dreaded appointment day, and as it were they both loved Lasko too much to say no.
“The doctor said to apply this after 30 minutes…It's been 40 minutes”
“But I don’t want to, my mouth hurts”, Lasko whined from the hospital bed. Shiny tears building up in those pretty eyes.
“It hurts because you didn’t put the cream on when you were supposed to”, the fire elemental said, exasperated.
“But-”
Damien let out a frustrated sigh, as he griped Lasko's face forcing him to stay still and lifted his cream covered fingers in front of his lips once more, “I’m not going to tell again. Open your mouth.”
Lasko met Damien’s intense gaze. The cocktail of energies the interaction had produced was delicious. Frustration and determination from Damien, and from Lasko?
Well lets say that if Gavin was in Damien's position he would no doubt take note of his likely blown pupils and wanton expression, as well as the very visible, even to him, heat that was crawling up his neck.
Finally, Lasko’s face split into a bashful smile and with flushed cheeks he said, “okay”.
Damien's mouth damn near fell open, “oh my god, you absolute freak”.
The fire elemental resolutely shoved his fingers into the now waiting mouth of said freak. Gavin couldn't help his amusement at the scene in front of him from spilling out any longer, “I’m glad that at least your love for being handled is intact”.
“Oh I’m sure Dear will be glad to hear that”, Damien huffed despite the pink coloring his of own cheeks and the heat emanating from his aura.
