The plan for this project involves creating an extra twitter account and livetweeting on TWO twitters at once when you livetweet. I donât know about you, but I always feel bad spamming the people I follow with tweets sometimes, but at the same time, I want to make sure to tweet a lot to get the show to trend or just to get plenty of tweets going around. So I thought, why not have everyone make a separate twitter JUST for this reason. We can put all of the twitters together in a list and everyone can follow each otherâs. From there, you just tweet during the show, even things like âClarke Griffin #the100â that may not even have much substance, but still get a tweet out there. Everyone can retweet it or things like that and itâll get all sorts more tweets circulating without having to spam our regular followers and timelines. This can also be used to tweet advertisers. Advertisers want to see that this show is worth advertising on so if during every commercial break, you tweet three advertisers three times each, theyâll probably be pretty stoked, especially if that tweet is getting retweeted tons of times.Â
Of course, you can do all of this on your other twitter too. Thatâs the idea. Making more twitters and tweeting a lot is helpful.Â
We can also tweet during the west coast if youâre an east coaster who has already seen it. Tweeting again during that time, even if you arenât watching it, helps get more tweets out and circulating.Â
Retweet the castâs tweets as much as possible if they have hashtags in them. Hashtags are the most important part because they are counted. Thatâs how the showâs twitter presence is counted, by the official âthe100â hash tag.Â
Mention the official twitter in your tweets as well or a twitter like the100writers who sometimes retweet.Â
Encourage the cast to livetweet the episodes. Even if they just tweet one thing, itâll be retweeted hundreds of times which helps ratings. BUT donât demand it. Donât be rude. Be polite. Ask.Â
Tweet advertisers as much as you can when their advertisement airs. Use the 100 hashtag when you do that. Again, that hashtag is âthe100.â Donât forget to actually mention the advertiser or use their hashtags as well. If you see other people doing this, retweet it.Â
Make more than one twitter account and tweet from it.Â
If you do make a side twitter account just for livetweeting, send it in here to be added to the list. We will have two separate lists. One for legitimate peopleâs twitters who are the 100 fans and livetweet episodes and one list for âlive tweet project twittersâ which will be additional twitters people make just to spam and livetweet.Â
