if in your fic reader is implied to be a woman, TAG IT FEM!READER

if the reader in your fic is GN! with some elements that LEAN Fem, idk that’s kinda a grey area imo, i’m not gender nonconforming so that’s not really my place to speak

but generally, if the fic you write, has a clear implication of Fem!Reader as opposed to any of the other expressions of reader, it. should be tagged. FEM!Reader

I can’t even count the times i’ve been halfway into a beautifully executed fanfiction prompt, and am suddenly slapped in the face by a random description that makes it clear the reader is intended to be read as a woman, and it just ruins the whole immersion for me, because I can’t connect as well with it anymore

For context, I do understand that a lot of fanfiction is written by women, and I have nothing against Fem!Reader stuff as a genre, love that for you guys, used to partake back when I was a gal myself, but as someone who is now a man, and would also like a turn at imagining silly things with fictional men, girlies, please please please tag your fics so others at least know. Thank you kindly and have a wonderful time.

“Eridians dislike earth because they abandoned Grace.” *Incorrect Buzzer Sound* ya missed the point of the story buddy! It’s not about someone being ‘bad’ it’s about the incredible power of love and that love being worth dying for!

Gimmie Eridians who are absolutely heartbroken to hear that humans where so desperate and so scared that they where willing to part with not just one Grace, there were three of them! Gimmie Eridians touched to find that the humans planned a way for their sacrifices to be as comfortable as possible. Gimmie Eridians who send earth a message saying “We know it must have hurt to send your heroes to die, but one made it and he’s safe here. We lost 22 good Eridians on the journey we would have lost 23 if not for your Grace.”

Give me humans sitting on Earth slowly coming to the conclusion that when we look up not only are we not alone, someone out there is alive because of one of us. That no matter what we think of ourselves a whole species thinks highly of us because we helped save the galaxy. Give me humans who figure out how to send a probe to Erid filled to the brim with messages for Grace and footage of a monument being raised that reads his name, his crews names, and then “in memory of the 22 Eridians who lost their lives on the journey to save the stars.”

It’s so important to me that he says “Dr. Captain Ryland Grace” when sending the Beatles back to Earth. Because the Hail Mary was made for a Captain, a Scientist, and an Engineer. And Grace only claims the Captain and Scientist parts. Because Rocky is the Engineer! Rocky is the Hail Mary’s Engineer!!!

i just love all the stories about production on project hail mary. they didn't use a single green/blue screen in the whole film. they built the whole interior of the hail mary. the petrova line scene was done practically by putting infrared lights on a chicken wire cage. rocky's voice was one of the puppeteers because he did such a good job during filming that they couldn't imagine anyone else voicing him. and rocky was a practical puppet/animatronic! sandra huller picked sign of the times as her karaoke song and she asked her daughter if it was still a cool song. i just feel like there was so much love making this film and im obsessed
