Sylvie 💚
I rewatch Loki TV the other and it gave me Sylki feels again. 🥰 So… I started a new self-challenge dedicated for sylki (I should probably stop doing this to myself lol) 7 days before Valentines 2022 and I’m positive I won’t finish it by the 14th. lol 😅 But I hope you’ll like it & I hope I’ll be able to complete it before the month ends.
Just wanted to share an edit i came across today:

This song fits their vibe so well.
This is such a cute little video, it made me fall in love with them all over again
Happy Birthday to... Us?
A tribute to @acharesia‘s Happy Birthday to… Us? Loki apparently has Twitter. Through the Time-Door people did skitter. Tom’s birthday surprise From the God of Lies: He became a variant-sitter.

Welcome to Jotunheim
A tribute to @aroguevariant‘s latest chapter of Welcome to Jotunheim: Sylvie can no longer escape. She has wounds that are more than a scrape. To each other drawn Who will be whose pawn? Intrigued, for now they just gape. Intrigued? Check it out at https://archiveofourown.org/chapters/92270185?show_comments=true&view_full_work=false#comment_511479829

This may sound mean, but...
If you send me an ask containing links to Good Omens fan fiction you think I should read, I'll delete it. Do it again and I'll (regretfully) block you. This is a general blanket sort of thing -- I don't want to read it, legally I can't read it, no I won't make it into the next series, and, no matter how pure your motives, it's crossing a line.
I’m reading a lot of baffled responses to this. People, I’m showrunning and co-writing the Good Omens TV series. I can’t legally read unsolicited plot ideas. Think of Netflix. Their terms of service include
8.2. Unsolicited Materials. Netflix does not accept unsolicited materials or ideas for Netflix content and is not responsible for the similarity of any of its content or programming in any media to materials or ideas transmitted to Netflix.
…and you’ll find similar clauses out there for other production entities. They are trying to safeguard themselves. There are people out there who are certain that a hit film or TV series is based on their stolen idea. The easiest way to avoid that is to make sure that their ideas can’t get to you.
It’s nothing to do with not approving of what you do. It’s about not putting me, the producers, the BBC or Prime Video at risk — or about having to throw away plans for the future because someone did that in fanfiction first. I can’t legally read unsolicited scripts or story proposals or manuscripts and sending me a link to your or someone else’s Good Omens fiction counts as those things. If I read your story and then did something close to it you could sue. So I’m not going to read it. There’s no emotional baggage in this. I’m definitely not telling you that what you are doing isn’t valid. (And If I wasn’t showrunning I wouldn’t be so Please Don’t and I Will Delete about it. But I am. So don’t. Thank you!)
hello kitty, you're so pretty (੭ˊ꒳ ˋ)੭

bell hooks taught me that love must be at the center of our politics and that revolution could not be possible without love. rest easy bell hooks, thank you for everything
I personally have put JK Rowling's books behind me for the sake of someone I care about who is transgender. It hasn't been easy. But I'm doing it.
You know, i was 13. I didnt have any friends, girl friends specifically. I was the weird kid, the one with the highest notes, the one in the band. I was an outcast. Recess was me eating next to a trash can.
You know what happened when i was 13? Twilight happened
And i wasnt an outcast anymore
I finally had something to talk about with other girls. I realized that they talked about more stuff than just boys and they realized i was more than the smart kid. I realized how hating pop music was stupid, how mysoginist it was the whole conception of just like rock and metal because that was what the boys did. I embraced liking boy bands, liking pop, fangirling over an actor and getting involved into fandom stuff. I improved my english soley because i wanted to read a Twilight fanfic that was completed in english and not in spanish.
Twilight marked a before and after for me. It formed me, it helped.
You know what i did the moment i knew Smeyer was a racist piece of shit and how much her books ruined the life of the real Quileute tribe?
The books i got (as a gift btw) are there somewhere collecting dust. I didnt care when Smeyer released The Host. The fandom hates her and they did their best to make her forgettable.
Everyone makes fun of Twilight. Everyone have shared at least once a post about how bad the book is or have agreeded in real life with someone about it.
We dragged her name into the mud.
The fandom makes their own headcanons. We have tried and keep trying to rewrite the whole thing. We share post after post about how racist Smeyer is.
Nobody defends her.
It was that easy.
It is that easy.
You all can do the same with JK Rowling.
You can make her forgettable. You can stop defending her. You can stop watching the damned movies, you can stop buying the books. Block her twitter, dont give her a plattaform. Treat her the same way Smeyer was: by mocking her and making her a joke.
A whole generation of teenagers did it with Twilight.
What's stopping you all from doing the same?
Dang yall, never thought that JK Rowlings would become the H.P. Lovecraft of our time.
Great stories with a huge impact on pop culture and literature. But WOW, what a bloody bigot.
It's funny how activism and allyship go out the window at the first sign of personal inconvenience, huh? The trailer for JK Rowling's newest cinematic bowel movement dropped yesterday and a baffling number of people with pronouns in their bios are losing their freaking minds with excitement over it.
If you confront them about it, they'll be the first to tell you that they absolutely do not support Rowling's Problematic Views, but they just have to see their favorite middle aged men waving sticks around for two hours. It's not their fault, really.
Well what if I told you that by still appearing in these movies, your favorite middle aged men are being part of the problem and you shouldn't support them either? That includes Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law and especially Mads Mikkelsen, because he signed up to this franchise after Rowling started sharing her transphobic views. Maybe you should consider why that is.
And before you start with any "But the contract...!" nonsense:
Katherine plays Tina, one of the main characters in the Fantastic Beasts franchise. After she took a firm stance against Rowling's bigotry last year, she's rumoured to have been more or less written out of the franchise, she isn't in any of the promo material and leaks indicate that she only has a few scenes in the new movie. Your faves have no excuse, they're more famous and wealthy than Katherine, their careers wouldn't be in danger for doing this, they simply don't want to.
At the end of the day, pirate the movie if you're curious to see it, but don't go to the cinema, don't post about it and stop pretending like if you ignore the problem, it'll go away. Trans people feeling safe and welcome in online spaces is more important than your nostalgia or daddy issues. JK Rowling writes these new movies, she produces them, she's got full control and she gets all the profit. Grow a fucking spine for once and stop supporting a bigot.
