I like my headcanon that dino has a moral compass that spawned into existence because of the genuinely horrifying combination of Reborn/Xanxus/Squalo he experienced growing up

Hes a nice teacher to Hibari cuz Reborn was mean to him and he will Break the cycle of mentor/student abuse. He is nice to his mafia family because Xanxus is soooo mean to his varia members and that spawns disloyalty. And he rarely raises his voices or go on rampages like Squalo does---he fights if he must but not for pleasure.

And he thinks "damn im doing great at this people thing" except the XSR influence is so strong that when he does fucked up things he doesnt realize how fucked up it is???
