Movement of Objects due to Pressure Changes
Technically, the term that should have been used is "blown out." The distinction is trivial, because both describe a process with the same outcome. However, I would be remiss not to explain why:
gif by @azertyrobaz
Blown out: an object pushed from a high pressure area to a low pressure area.
Sucked out: an object pulled out from a high pressure area to a low pressure area.
The question in this (hypothetical) outcome is: what is causing the force? The answer is unambiguously the atmospheric gasses leaving under pressure which push objects out, just as air blows out of a punctured tire from the pressure inside, rather than being sucked out by the lower pressure outside the tire.
Therefore, I should have said "If I'm incorrect, we will instantly be blown out and perish."
Very interesting! Something I also noticed was that you had mentioned “phenotypic eye color” when discussing the appearance of clones with Phee—though that would be redundant, as a person’s phenotype consists of the sum of their observable characteristics, and eye color will always be observable, therefore eye color will always be phenotypic.
If you still wanted to use the fancy biology word to impress her, you could have said, “brown eyes are included in the phenotype of all clones,” but maybe you were just taken off-guard by her advances. (Don’t feel bad—it happens to all of us!)
Perhaps you were trying to imply that clones did possess recessive alleles for eye colors other than brown in your genotypes, and that you were potentially capable of—ahem—producing a child with light-colored eyes given that your partner’s alleles also included at least one recessive allele, which would make for a much more suggestive comment than its original interpretation.
Sorry I’ve been gone for a while but this is how it’s going for me right now
Hello Tech! Happy Star Wars Day, and May the Fourth be with you. As you probably know, today is also the anniversary of your show’s premiere, so I’m sending you flowers for the occasion—green seems like your color; I hope that’s okay. I personally don’t understand the functionality of sending cut flowers as they’re only temporary, and you may feel the same way as our brains are kind of alike, so I’ve also sent along some cuttings of my lemon lime peperomia, Sprite.
Peperomia obtusifolia are native to Earth, specifically Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean, and is an evergreen perennial whose leaves are waxy and round. It will fare well in a space with low light, such as the Marauder, and it needs to be watered once the soil completely dries out. May the Fourth be with you Tech; always a pleasure :)
Salutations, Eon!
Please forgive me for the delay in answering this message. It has been a very busy past few months. I am about to go on a short break but wanted to ensure that I responded to you beforehand.
Thank you very much for the Peperomia obtusifolia! I completely agree with your preference for living vegetation over cut flowers - it is the fiscally logical choice. Green symbolizes new beginnings in many cultures, and May 4th was certainly a new beginning for my squad. I also appreciate your thoughtfulness in selecting a plant appropriate for the ambient environment which I will be able to provide.
The Jedi repeat this mantra any day of the Galactic Standard year; therefore, I believe it is still appropriate to respond: May the Force be with you. Always.
What did the z distribution say to the t distribution?
"You may look like me, but you're not normal."
"My friend Chief O'Brien often says that, above all else, he wants to make Keiko happy."
I was gonna celebrate pride month with an aroace blog layout and then you showed up :\
How serendipitous. I assume you have now reversed your erroneous position and decided to celebrate with a layout of my visage, since you are clearly Techsexual?
Uhh actually this is my layout all the time
There, there, Eon. I'm delighted to support you celebrating your identity every month of the Galactic standard year. 😉
Oh hey Tech.. haha
